Night fill work

24 hours of night fill in a weekend? Stuff that.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Personally Woolies/Safeway is not for me. There is too much gossip and pussy farting around between a lot of employees.

i work 32 -40 hrs pw, and have worked at 4 different safways, but i agree with some you guys what u say about about safeway, nightfill with sways does sux, i will be only staying for another a year and abit then i'll be leaving for sure, i so can not wait for that day to come.

hey man i work 30 hours in 3 nights work fri sat and sun night........ wouldnt change it 4 the world. and the pay is very good. and woolies people are great to work for. go for it !!!!!

I work in the Woolies DC in Queensland its not bad the ppl are kinda down to earth as mentioned alot of gossip as for making your way up the ladder, its not what you know its who you Blow!!!!

But the money is good its my main job 40hrs a week Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs. Every weekend is a long weekend for me. As for nightfill never done it but form what ive heard and experienced go for woolies!!

hey guys, thanks to my annoying store manager i will be tranfering safeways again, here is my story, i tranferred to Safeway Wheelers Hill last october trying to solve my hrs problem that i had from my 1st SAFEWAY DANDENONG, i was only getting 13 hrs per there anyway , so organised for a tranfer to Wheelers Hill, it toke a month and a bit anyway, i've been working for them from Oct - Now, it was good til January, my nightfill mager tells me that the manager is getting rid of nightfill and going to evening fill , ever since then i've been working at other safeways, the other safeways, that i have been working is Southland, so 2day, i spoke to the store manger @ sthland and he told me that some nightfill people are leaving , and i will be able to get 32 hrs, instead of 24, plus the thing that rally annoyes me, my current store atm, how our work is done now,

1. Stack
2. Face - wastes 6 hrs of the shift, insead of working the load

if yoiu ask me that is pathic, i know this store is right next to head office but still, i so compeltly hate my store as of now, i so can't wait to to leave this store, i hope the manager is ganna be happy all of nightfill's workers will be gone, 1 is going bakay, one is going to produce, i'll be leaving,

Hey there im the misses of dilweed, i work for woolies doing night fill at livingston, and u have to go onto the woolies website and go into careers. u can fill in an application on there and they will give u a call i know there are 3 woolies near me screaming out for night fillers, not many people like doin the friday and sat nights they suck...... but every store is diffrent good luck

this morning i get the transfer paper and sign it, i give it to my manager," i need You to sign this" - " i can't sign this", and i'm like what " , anyway , then he tells me that i will be given 38hrs starting this week since he will be losing 2 other workers that will be going to other departments, then i tell him, “ i don't belive you, you might try to cut my hours then he says” " Follow me and i'll show you", so I go into his office and he was right, so i finally got what i wanted i just hope he doesn’t do anything stupid with nightfill, i will now have to tell southland that i would't be available as of next week , I’ll be working 38hrs from Wednesday - Sunday ( I better get used 2 working 5 days in a row because it starts next rooster, before I left this morning i told of the grocessary assiant that i was leaving to transfer stores and his reaction was funny , but yeah , I’m happy, just can't wait for my time off now.

Yeh I was doing year 12 at the time and I told them I probably couldnt do extra shifts on top of what you give me a week and they said they understood that. Whenever they called me up wanted me to come in I said I couldnt make it and they started to dislike me and therefore treat me like crap. Also they made me do Sunday shifts building up ends for the specials and they gave me way to much work to complete in one day and always had a go at me when I failed to do it all.

I cant really say the revenge I got on them over the internet. Sorry.

Well they are there to run a store which unfortunately doesn't revolve around your year 12. Having said that, if you told them you were un-available when interviewing for the position they shouldn't have put you on in the first place.

far out too many woolies workers here lol but seriously i don't believe there is a difference between the way staff are treated between the 2 company's, they would both have there bad points, but yeah if you wanna make some extra cash it's not a bad way to go, coles pay a senior casual bout 19.50 p/h and thats before penalty rates. Work 3 X 4hr nights and you'd make couple of hundred bucks

Hey guys, I applied at Safeway for night fill today, hoping to get the job as I really need the money. Do you guys find it easy to adapt to sleeping during the day etc? Does it ruin your body clock... etc? Whats the general pay rate for a 19 yo?

depend how much hrs you doing , when i started doing n/fill it was't that bad only getting small hrs but now, i've finally got to ft n/fill as next week its ganna staff my sleep up completly, i'll be working 38hrs each week
