hey guys just wondering as to when you get your points back? i no its 12 months but is it 12 months from the day u got booked or the day you pay ur fine??? thanks heaps

in ACT it is 3 years from your last fine. after 3 years you get all points back. but if you lose 2 points and then a year later lose another 2 you dont wait 2 more years to get the 1st lot of points back, you have to wait the full 3 years.

i know this for a fact cos my sister only just got 11 points back she had lost.

in nsw it is 3 years from the fine date. You can go to the rta website and put your licence number and customer number(its on your licence) and it will tell you when your last fine was and when you are due to get your points back. I hane to wait til feb 08 to get my 3 points back.

its 3 years here in SA..... I have all the letters & a good frined of mine, just got the dreaded disqualification letter in the mail yesterday..... was 5 weeks shy of the 3 years.... bye bye lic for 3months......

3 in WA too, but it's 3 years for each lot of points. You can lose 2 points at 3 different times and you will get those 2 points back 3 years from when you pay the fine each time.

anyone know what it is in QLD? pretty sure it's a year but after seeing 3 years in other states im not t sure.
