seen this done before but it was basically a complete engine up to the rocker covers.
glass was placed on the rocker covers and an air filter was on the glass as the center piece like it was coming through the glass
looked good
not exactly the same as this but a mate has a table made up from a 20inch rim like it has glass over the top looks pretty cool as its a chromie, he used the rims coz they had cracks from a tree jumping out infront of him ill have to take a pic next time im at his house.
sweet, the missus will never let me bring it in the house though

I bet its VERY expensive, especially if that is a new engine block.
Personally I reckon it looks ordinary.
Maybe out in a shed, but I wouldn't have that in my house at all.
A few guys over at Ct were talking about doing it, not sure if they ever did or not.
seen it a while ago, but I still love it. I'd have one in a heartbeat, except for the fqact that kids and glass aren't a good mix

Yeah same here I am sure the kids would find it, but maybe in my pool room mmmm![]()
The other thing is you wouldn't be moving it that often either

It would be a prick to move. "Honey, I want to put the coffee table in the other room" "Sure darl, I will just go out the back and get the engine crane"

LMAO i just rang around and i may have a 308 complete motor. I wonder how im going to get it to shine and be heaps clean??? ANy ideas?
.:Blown VT V6, DAJ37:.
I think ill be leaning toward acid dipped as it has to look neat in the house. Not wanting so old crappy motor sitting there. My G/F's dad is friends with Victor Bray and i will ask himto ask vic if he has any old blown motors sitting around. Will keep yall up to date but may take a few weeks.

Haha, that is cooL!
While it may be good in a guys flat (one of those modern houses that are like all stainless steel and that) it wouldn't look good in a normal house.
Still, that's pretty good, cred to whoever did it.![]()

Get more parts like cams for chair legs and blower with air cleaner for cushions hahahaha nah i dont think the missus will go for it. Will wait and see. !!

wouldnt have one in my house. i agree with the 'redneck' label. i guess it could be an enthusiast thing but it wouldn't work in this place (minimalist lines etc).
id love to have one aslong as it didnt smell and was super clean lol. although it probably wouldnt fit in my bedroom..
painting it up would look cool too.
