seen this done before but it was basically a complete engine up to the rocker covers.
glass was placed on the rocker covers and an air filter was on the glass as the center piece like it was coming through the glass
    looked good

Personally I reckon it looks ordinary.

Maybe out in a shed, but I wouldn't have that in my house at all.

A few guys over at Ct were talking about doing it, not sure if they ever did or not.

seen it a while ago, but I still love it. I'd have one in a heartbeat, except for the fqact that kids and glass aren't a good mix

Just get it bead blasted for the cheap way, or acid dipped for a better looking finish.

You could have it two ways

Do a massive mofo degrease and clean and leave it in a natural looking state or you could get the whole motor chromed at a plating place. I'd hate to know the bill at the end lol.

I think ill be leaning toward acid dipped as it has to look neat in the house. Not wanting so old crappy motor sitting there. My G/F's dad is friends with Victor Bray and i will ask himto ask vic if he has any old blown motors sitting around. Will keep yall up to date but may take a few weeks.

    Haha, that is cooL!

While it may be good in a guys flat (one of those modern houses that are like all stainless steel and that) it wouldn't look good in a normal house.

Still, that's pretty good, cred to whoever did it.

Ummmmmm if your using one of VIc's old engines (BAE block and heads) you will end up with a dining table!!!

wouldnt have one in my house. i agree with the 'redneck' label. i guess it could be an enthusiast thing but it wouldn't work in this place (minimalist lines etc).
