Personally I'd pick the ECU job, probably more room to move up in the world there (management, own business doing installs etc etc), spray and body work you'll always be just another one of the blokes working for the man.
Thats the path I'd take, but I hate getting my hands dirty![]()
Take the injectronics one. You'd be a fool not to, it can lead in so many more directions.

good advise....
it was broke before i got it
I say go the electronics path. That way you will have a decent qualification at the end of your apprenticeship. Sure its good and all with the benefits working at the bodykit place, but later down the track it wont be as good as the other job.
Yep, agree with everyone, electronics. It will open up a lot more possibilities compared to being a spray painter.
must say i gotta agree with everyone here, plus when your done you can start your own business and become a JC sponsor![]()

Definately go with the electronics mate. There will be a lot more opportunities there. All you will have to look forward to as a fibreglasser/spraypainter is the same job day in day out. The only real positive is that your work will be on display.
Hmmm Well I Start work at XXX bodykits on Monday... Trial, And in that period if I decide it's not for me, I have 2 weeks to go for the Injectronics business.
Cheers

P.S- For me it's not just money & oportuneties, It's what I want to do, and my life, Yes I love electronics, But I must always be moving doing stuff constantly or I get bored....

Best of luck either way you go Hozy.
My brother worked at a fibreglass bodykit manufacturing place. He ended up quitting after about a year. It was hard, dirty, repetitive, crappy work and he had as much as he could take.
take the one that has the best future, dont look for the money now. if u want money now, dont do an app, go work graveyard shifts in a servo, that pays well
mate forget about panel beating and the opportunity to do up your car for cheap...its not worth it.
take the electronics job. better opportunities, better future, better pay, better career path. go to work clean come home clean and wear nice clothes
being successfull at the electronics job means so much more...stick with panel beating and struggle to go past $45K if that a year unless you have your own business....
go electronics and you could get close to 6 figure salary in the future....
electronics always learning and technology changing regularly so its interesting and different...beating panels and painting cars gets very boring very quickly...
but in the end your choice but know this...opportunities are rare so take them when you can
yeah but there is always a limit to the amount of money in certain careers...you cant be a check out chick for 15years and think you can get close to 100K...
and being there long doesnt mean you will get promoted either...these days companies dont worry about loyalty they want experience and knowing your stuff.
Everyone keeps telling you electronics. Reminds me of when I was looking fo an apprenticeship. I chose fitting and turning over electrical. You all may call me a bit of a fool but I am not regretting it one bit. Do what you really want to do mate. There will be jobs for you in the future in either field. It might just be a bit harder with the fibreglass field. Do the trial and see how it goes.
well if all goes well can i get discount on a body kit:P good luck with it, tell us how it goes
