    Default Crappy Computer

Ok so i thought id Download and install FireFox so i could veiw some websites i visit better. Once i did that when i clicked on things it would make funny sounds like the click sound would repeat very quickly (if you know what i mean?) Then i got the Blue Screen of Death.

So I uninstalled firefox Cos it was all working fine till i got that. Then i still made the funny noises and yep B.S.O.D!!!!

Then i did a system restore to a couple of days ago. Its still making the noises and stuff but no Blue Screen yet.

Does anyone know what is goin on?? Should i restore back more days I dont see how that would help but thats all i could think of!!

    Cheers,
    Brownie

Once a Mercedes is up to cruising speed it lopes along easily and is happy sitting on 180+ km/h all day. Please check the speed limits in your area before attempting this…

Yeah when it blue screens it will come up with crap on the screen. You need to copy down the stuff that says.
e.g. 0x000800 blah blah and post that up.

Error code was Fx0000004 Something like that didnt stay up for long. Hasnt crashed for awhile but when imlistening to music or playing games there is still that studdering sound (if you know what i mean). It only does it for a second or two but it does it prob every 30secs or less. Gets annoying when listening or play.

Sounds to me like a bad soundard/sc driver, but installing Firefox shouldn't do that, has the computer box been bumped or sumthing?

so your comp is working? just an annoying clicking sound?
either be your sound/video card drivers,or your HDD is about to give up the ghost...
all though it may well be as simple as a loose IDE connector to drives...
