id only be paying that sort of money if the gold was pure gold
53k for the GT plate......You don't want to park it at night. Thats just ludacris for a number plate.
at those prices you would want to setup some sort of alarm system wired to the plate!!!![]()

In WA it's a one off payment for plates. The rego price doesn't change for whatever plates you have. I got my moneys worth for both my sets though, 9 characters on a polycarbonate and 5 on an aluminium.

vic is kinda like wa, once off fee, i paid 395 for mine, but as i found out the other day, it costs $93 to change them to another car. but we can only get upto 6 letters, 9 would be mad
Once you buy them they are just like ordinary plates with regards to swapping to different vehicles. Two different types of plates, polycarbonate with 9, and aluminium which allows up to 7. But there are 8 different types of plates available over here with different characters. http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/c...lates/1202.asp The DPI website with the different types. Menu down the left to see them all.
