Signature plates
anyone seen these yet? signature plates for vic.
they come in a few colour combos, mainly bla, white and golds, can only have 2 letters, or 2 letters and one number, or 2 letters and 2 numbers
they start from a cool $1,995
http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/...turePlates.htm
so, whos gonna be first to get a set on jc?
id only be paying that sort of money if the gold was pure gold

In WA it's a one off payment for plates. The rego price doesn't change for whatever plates you have. I got my moneys worth for both my sets though, 9 characters on a polycarbonate and 5 on an aluminium.

Once you buy them they are just like ordinary plates with regards to swapping to different vehicles. Two different types of plates, polycarbonate with 9, and aluminium which allows up to 7. But there are 8 different types of plates available over here with different characters. http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/c...lates/1202.asp The DPI website with the different types. Menu down the left to see them all.
