    Default what should i choose?

ok i have the choice to either get a vs slr 5000 manual hsv, black, lowered, 19's for 13,000 or a wh stato champane colour on bags gen3, 19's for 20,000 both are very nice cars but im not sure what one i should choose...i prefer the sound of the 5ltr i think they sound beefier than a gen3, plus manual vs auto, oh and the stato has grey leather interior too...
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!

VS SLR5000 was just a dealer option thing, nothing special... go the stato.

I would go for the SLR if its in good condition...V8 manual, black with 19's, now that would look nice and be so much fun to drive.

Yeh but it's still a stock 5L, it's not even HSV AFAIK, just a dealer option pack on the SS.

Confirmed - 5L Exec with some stickers, not even an SS though... no LSD..

    Exactly my thoughts...

Is the extra $7g a problem? If not go the WH. If you want to stick to the VS shape go the HSVs.

Charg'd Anyone with a brain wouldn't buy a car that's had bags etc done = Modified, Possibly dodgy, Also you don't know what's wrong with it if it has problems.

I'd prefer buying a stocko ls1 stato & doing it myself if i had the money..

I'm with ray.. Ick at buying a pre modified=thrashed car...

    Cheers

for me it would be more of a case of not thrashed but more TRASHED. Bad work possibily that would cost thousands of dollars to repair.

I'd go the stato coz its a WH (sexy as is, but with those mods sounds sexier still!!), Gen 3 over 5lt... I know everyone has their personal preference, mine would be the gen 3! Leather (who doesnt like leather!!) The list goes on and on...

Can you get the stato checked out before you buy? for any major problems which may come up...

I'd go the stato, but I can see where your a little concerned

    But wait... There's more!!

    But that's not all!!!

thanks for the replies guys, nah money isnt an issue for me anymore i got up to 35g to spend but be ****ed if im gunna spend it all on a car, im looking at land aswell.im leaning more towards the stato especially if the bags are done right and have a roadworthy cert with them... i dont get much time to reply on here much anymore due to new carrear but appreciate the feedback so i can check it when i get a chance... later

Thats why you go and look at both cars, go over them thoroughly and weigh up the pros and cons of both.
