Haha I saw a guy riding one of those postie bike's down the freeway the other day, engine was screaming, he sitting at about 80km/h and had his head right down as low as possible trying to decrease wind resistance as best as possible. What a champ, but looked quite f***en funny!
I don't know about QLD, but in Vic and Tassie, the limit for a motorcyclist on their L's is a 250cc. Some people are allowed exemptions, but even then you can only ride bigger bike that are on the list they provide you.
But if you asking whether you can ride a bike on on your car L's, then I'm fair sure the answer is no. I think you can ride up 50cc in some states with out a motorcycle licence, but the bike still has to be road registered.
