i had and STILL have a overheating prob with my vs calais and so i rang holden up and they told me on the phone they where 99% sure they could find out what was causeing it to over heat so after handing them $50 and 2 hours of my time they couldnt tell me what the prob was and heres the real kicker they didnt even know that theres bungs on the bottom of the v6 motor that should be removed so you can flush the block out when doing a coolant change! the guy said: (oh you mean the welsh plugs) and i said no theres bungs you take out of the v6 block just under the exhuast manifold so you can do a flush on the block (thats in a max ellery by the way) i mean wtf?? it comes down to holden being cheap and hireing young hands and 1st year apprentices so they can cut cost on labour hire my point WAKE UP TOSSERS!

I thought I would take my car to Holden to get the power steering fixed.

They reset the bcm, which fixed it somehow, but when they returned it to me the alternator light was on.

The ****s point blank denied they stuffed around with it and said it was like that when I brought it in.

haha u think Holden is bad my best mate took his Hilux to Toyota to get his power streeing fixed after he had an acco and the panel beater where he got it fixed did not even look at it so into Toyota to get it done on insurance and all that only to be told its going to cost $1200 just for the parts then $600 on lobour and **** and the insurance compeny wont pay for it to be reparied so now after $280 just for them to tell him what the go is we have to fix it ourselfs how that for a rip

lol sorry but it's now just common sence you don't take your car to holden unless you know them on a friendly basis even then i'd still be a bit sketchy on the idea.

yeah we have had commos in and we have fixed the problem in like 20 minutes were they have been to holden b4 and they couldnt find anything rong wif it so i think it comes down to not giving a **** about the ppl that bring in money. or they r very lazy ppl
