    Default Hillbillies steal car keys!

After travelling out near Ipswitch for a party last weekend, Some mofo stole my car keys, Yes, I said stole, not lost. Anyways, after having to hire a car trailer and removing my front bar to fit the car on the trailer to get it home to the gold coast. i was quoted $480 to code and fit 2 new keys for the set that was stolen was the only set we had.

Anyways, i today got some good news with a m8 of mine organising for me 2 new keys and all locks coded and fitted for under $200.

Oh, and checkout the rear of me m8's vn after hookin up the trailer, lol.

    Here's some pics.

We would say so, luckily enough our house keys were not on that set, The car was locked that night, unlocked the nextmorning, keys gone, after knowing exactly where we placed em. The car has dumped exhaust(pretty loud) and we slept not more than 10mtrs away. hmmmmm, not sure what they'd have to gain.

Was anything taken from the car? Maybe that was the point of stealing the keys and they were dumped somewhere nearby after they went through your car.
On another note, illegal and dangerous to tow a car with a VN without a heavy duty towbar. If you had the standard towbar and something broke your insurance would say stick it up your arse.

Gold Coast m8, No the keys werent kept in the car, I guess its possible the car was unlocked after they used the remote to c which vehicle the keys belonged to, I rely dont know. No personal property was taken at all, the only reason we hooked the car up on that trailer towed by me mates vn, was there was no way in Hell, I was leaving my car with them, after having my keys taken.

As for the keys showing up, We had four ppls searching house and yard for hrs. Anyways, Inow have 2 new keys and locks changed thanks to a good m8 whom helped me out.

What is the point in stealing car keys, going outside and pressing the remote locking, obviously seeing the car unlock and just walking off without stealing a thing.

Spose you had to have some luck though. Couldve been a lot worse, some drunk decieded to go on a joy ride and totalled it.

Had a combination lock bike chain stolen once. While it was attached to a bike and a street pole

Guess some people just get a thrill from letting you know what they COULD have done but didn't. Better that then actually doing it I guess

My keys got flogged recently too, if the dumbass didn't take 1600 dollars worth of parts at the same time I would have been none the wiser and he could of had a free for all next time he saw the car.

But fortunately due to his lack of intelligence I've gotten new barrels all round, new keys new ignition barrel etc.

    Why are people so smrt.
