LCD and smoking

if you smoke while on the computer that has a LCD moniter does it damage it at all?
my mate told me it does so im curious if anyone knows for sure.

ive heard (and seen) of smoke particles killing CRT screens but nothing about LCD's. my brothers crt used to be silver... now its orangey brown

haha!lol you must be smokin some hefty amounts if the smoke can affect ur lcd dude lol. unless ur blowin it str8 at the screen id rekon u shuldnt have any probs? who nos,this is a first for me,never even knew they culd be affected by such things! learn something new everyday

The inside of a computer is under slightly reduced pressure due to the cooling fand on the power supply. As a result anything in the air will get sucked into the computer past all the expendive bits (reading heads on the cd rom). Used to be a BIG problem with magnetic tapes.

As for the LCD no idea.
