i had my car advertised for sale on the side of the road and yesterday night when me and my g/f r trying to sleep she thought she heard it start up . i said dont worry about it they wouldnt steal my car. then i heard it take off so i ran out the front and it was gone called the cops and all that and at 5 am they called me saying they found my car burnt out at the velladrom thingy on main north road.

Someone i used to go to school with took an axe to my step dads car, and put an axe throuygh the bonet and hit the gas convertor or whatever it is (i know **** all about gas cars) There was about a 2cm cut in it. If it went any further the car wouldve blown up in his face.

I woudlve had solace in knowing the little **** (who was after my car) got blown up.

one of my brothers mates VP clubsport got stolen and burnt in adelaide, not long ago, i wonder if it was the same people. you need a steel steering wheel and a steel shifter knob and have 10,000 volts running through them for a theft deterrent, imagine there surprise when they go to put it in gear.

What is the point of steeling a car and burning it out??? Today while going to work i was looking down fire trails and saw maybe vl or older wagon burnt out. 20 meters up the trail the cops had there 4x4 bogged from all the rain we have just had hehehhe.

yer i got insurance for it im just waiting on the claims form and all that. when i was talking to the lady at holden hill police station she was telling me that there had been 20 commodores stolen in the past 3 nihgts around th modbury/goldengrove/elizabeth/holden hill/ areas. the chances of us findingt he ppl who did it is slim but hope next time they try somthing they get caught and meet i nice b/f in jail lol

They burn it to remove any prints, hair etc etc which may be used as evidence. Usually, the car is stolen, used in a crime, stripped then burnt. That way, the cops have nothing to go on.
