work or driving test? i just rang up and got my test booked in for the end of this month after the lady i got to book it screwed up by booking it in and never ringing me to tell me the date or time so today my mum got a nasty phone call from here because i never showed up. but then i remembered i have to go away on 15th out to blackwater and i wont be able to make it, so nows shes gonna be really pissed.should i just go away then make up a story like i thought i was only gonna be out here for 1 week but they changed it so i cant make it?
i'd call them asap and apologise profusely, explain your current situation, remember you cant please everyone nor is it your task to do so, they are a business and if they want your business they can get stuffed and do it your way.
It's better to be honest and upfront, she may be able to squeeze another person in that spot, letting her wait for you to never show and then lying about it is kind of childish and a bit of a cop out.
Sorry mate thats what I think.
use those things b etween your legs champ. the decision is yours'
in all seriousnus do the work thing, driving tests come and go, you got heasp of time to get yoru licence. dont be foolish, it's hard nwo day's to get a job, it's easy to get a licence.
i am the god of britany spears womanizer on just dance on the wii
What's the worst that can happen if you decide to go away? The woman might get a bit angry on the phone, but at the end of they day they won't refuse you another test appointment just because you can't make that one. After all, they stuffed up in the first place.
Work is much more important IMO.
Whoever said 'There is no substitute for cubes' had obviously never heard of Jet power
stuff them just get a driving test somewhere else. she sounds like a bitch anyway ;-)
if you have to work away you have to work away try and find somone else thats gonna work around you not you work around them

Tell her now that you have to go away for work, it's enough notice for her to fill the spot. If you blow her off and not tell her, how much harder is it going to be to actually pass the test with them. It's just common courtesy to let people know when plans change. I don't know about driving tests, but if you don't show for a restaurant booking they charge you anyway, same with doctors.
yeh i had to pay the 38.90$ booking fee for my test.which i loose if i don't show up or cancel. i actually found out today that im going away for 6 days and should be back on thurday/friday then the test is on tuesday. so i hope they don't keep me out there.
