Do people never get insurance quotes before they buy a vehicle?

Minux, most of the time...NO. Crazy eh?
I've lost count how many times I've sold cars to kids and then they call me asking to to return that car because the afford the insurance that is required by law.
Before you ask, of course I don't take them back. They are owners.
i checked through racv beofre i bought the car yes. but i was just thinking i would go third party. but after i seen how good the car was i wanted better insurance.
3rd party is for work cars, you know like a $500 laser hatch. Why would you ever want to risk anything of value if you screw up? Or even worse, someone else screws up and damages your car in a car park.

As yet I have not insured the WRX even though I own it. Although it doesn't move it still should be insured but I just holding off until the last minute before my insurance for my wife and I go from $88 a month upto about 198 a month.

i looked at a ss but decided no due to insurance $$ but as far as my reserach took me just cars gave me the best deal, im 23 will full no-claim. nrma was good to but more cost on policy but less on the excess if a claim. Racv i think would be equivlent to nrma in nsw!
Im probly wrong so dont listen to me
i think my full comp would be about 60 a week or something. it was like 240 a month. but i gotta re check that. so its not really that bad paying weekly. i dont work 2 jobs to afford it... refrase. i do work 2 jobs
Should of got the cat in mum or dads name than go on there insurance. To get cheaper than what you youre gonna have to wait till 25.
