HQ Stato

Hi Guys,

I might be getting my hands a HQ stato with a factory chev engine in it,

I have looked on other sites to get an indication of what they are worth but have come up with nothing, I am assuming this was a limited release car.

would that be right?

The 350 was an option on the HQ right through the range .The Stato was backed by a 350 turbo hydro auto . I had a 308 stato and my mate had a 350 stato ( this was in the late 1970s ) They were pretty even off the mark till he put a twin exhaust on it ,then the thing used to fly.

They(350 Chev) were only avail in the Monaro and Statesman.Not many around now.All had 4 bolt mains and were an 010 block.If you dont wish to purchase it i would be interested in it as im after a project.Adam.
