9pm last Sunday down the calder freeway at a speed of 156klm per hr.I was caught.The family BA inpounded for 48 hrs and i will lose my license for 12 months.
Im not bragging i just want every body to abuse the hell out of me.
Please mods let them say what they like,i think i need this from as many people possible.
I hate myself for being so stupid.
It has alot to do with an anger problem i have that im having alot of trouble sorting out and im begging for some help,and maybe a kick up the arse from you guys might help.

I was done for speeding... 25km/h over. they took 2km/h off...

I'm not happy, abbuse from other people wont help mate... Go see your doctor. He will be your best help, Or talk to a mate that you can trust.

Speeding is something we've all been caught doing (well most of us anyway) it's really not a good feeling, knowing you've ****ed up royally. 12 months without a license is a scary idea for me, dunno if you've got the same perspective on it though. Hope it brings you some clarity.

live and learn mate live and learn ! i got busted last year for doing something similar and lost my licence for 9months i get it back on the 21 of next month and am counting the days its not now when it will kick in (the loss of licence) its going to be later like when the missus needs you to run down the shop for something for the kids or her and you cant and their all sick with the flu or something thats what taught me the most anyway if you have anger you need to get it sorted and get some counseling or call mens line they might be able to give you some counseling or direct you to an anger manegment course? but in the end still thats no excuse for speeding anyway, you need to take control of yourself and your actions and grow up sorry if that sounds a bit harsh ey but as posted before you could end up dead or worse rotting in jail with the conscience of knowing you killed someone!

Its not my first loss of licence it will be my 6th time in twenty years of driving.I got back 6 demerit points this week for a loss of licence almost 3 years ago and i was quite proud of how i was going.The missus is really pissed too,after all it is the car she uses for work ETC.

See, i have no issues with people who do the crime and will pay the time. To admit you have ****ed up is the important thing. It is the morons who say "its just revenue raising" that piss me off.

I'm betting top dollar that you will learn from this and i doubt it will happen again. Just learn from it and move on. No point having people go off at you. We can all see you screwed up and admitted, no need to keep on going

because its gets it off ones chest, which is like once i blew up verbally at a woman ( she was in the wrong during a no-contact, bad merger. i was livid at all hell at the heat of the moment, and many know me for my calm demeanour, so i talked about it to a couple of close friends got it off my chest, clamed down, reflected on how my actions held no value or purpose and got over it.

talking to others is a good way to release the pain, im by no means a model driver, i still have my grey moments but like adam, i'll find out the hard way if i dont wise up, maybe i wont be as lucky as him to find out the eaiser hard way. i'd hate to find out about dangerous driving the harder hard way ( vehicular manslaughter anyone? )

Respect to you adam, for being straight up, honest and a little more wise to the world, just don't drink and ride

oh and for the love of god, even if its ' just around the bend ' don't drive till you get your license back.

As you don't know me from a bar of soap, I'm going to tell you that I was also a lot like you when I was younger. Lost my licence 4 times for speeding and illegal dragging. I also nearly lost my beuatiful wife of, now, over twenty years because of my anger problem. I lost it with and put her head through a wall. I was very lucky that I found the right organisation and counseller to help me through and eventually after a lot of hard work, i proved I could overcome my anger. I got back my wife and have held a full licence for quite sometime.

Please, don't give up looking for help....and hang in there

nar keep at it mate, im going through the same thing atm, you'll soon be on the happy pills and won't even be able to get angry at terrorists lets hope your not that bad though and counciling will sort you out...it's done wonders for me.

i closed this thread the other day, but got anoyed and didnt type in a reply cuase of the speed issues at the time, but it's all good now

it's closed, while old mate has publicly admitied he has been caught speeding, which is fair enough, i dont think it's a good idea to be publicly humiliated like that. the lesson has been learnt, and the relaity is harsh.

so yeah, i closed it so he wasnt humiliated anymore
