if your HPT is based on any HPT system as in VIC, its a horrble way to test your sence of judgement.

The software is basic, the conditions are rediculas and its based on how fast you can click a mouse button.

Basically, its the dumbest thing ever created.... i know very confident and skilled drives today, who failed it 3 or so times, why? because it poorly reflects real life conditions.

    Other than that.... its fantastic!

Hot tip, if someone can confirm its accuracy to the VIC's model, click when you would, dont try and guess when the computer wants you to click. Oh and sometimes, you need not click at all.... i call em' fakers.

i got my P2's back in March

u just sit down infront of the screen, there is a demo to begin with to let u know what ur in for, then a practice question, then ur into the test.

u just watch the simulation and the question might be: "touch the screen when you think you should apply the brakes". i think in some cases the answer to a question is not to touch the screen at all. i think there was about 10 questions in total, cant remember now... all will be explained for you though

whether u pass or not is worked out on a percentage on how well u did in the questions, something like +75% to pass?

the simulations are pretty pixelated so small things are easy to miss, but it's still ridicuiously easy to pass. waste of time and money IMO but atleast u dont have to worry about P-plates ever again! *touchwood*

See its the opposite here in Vic, its rediculous to see the amount of people fail it. As azk said, its just a joke. I dont see how "click when its appropiate to start braking" is a test of real life conditions, Some people brake lighter than others and some brake a little heavier. I remember a question i got and the scenario was I was driving at 80 kmph and there was a puddle of water on the side of the road, when do you brake? I didnt click anything and went right through the big mean water. I think i got it wrong. I still passed so thats the main thing.

i had a question where there was a lady with a pram in the shaddows, but the screen was so fuzzy that you couldn't physically see it until it was "too late". maybe the results are calculated higher so it's easier to get a pass over here if you get what i mean.
