Tonight for me was a toss up between whether I go to the gym or go to the footy... decided to go to the gym and glad I did, sounds like I would have had a crap night at the footy.
Well done Crows.... Carn the Pies next week!
The umpires gave Collingwood a goal, then gave Adelaide a goal. It was fair.

Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.

Do you wanna fight about this?
Well finals just been announced, should be a great start to the finals.
Tips anyone??
Hawks V Crows: Flip a coin, on todays proformance you'd have to say crows.
Pies V Swans: I reckon the swans in a close one
Power V West coast: Travel won't bother the eagles too much, i reckon eagles.
Cats V Roos: My team! What can i say, GO CATS!
Hawks v Crows: Hawks were terrible against the swans. Crows are great at their best. CROWS
Pies v Swans: Pies got us last time, but that was Swans playing without any backline. SWANS in a close one
Power v WCE: very tough, depends how Judd pulls up. i think the Eagles should win, but i have a feeling POWER might get them
Cats v Roos: CATS. Can't see the Roos getting there at all.
Week 2:
Eagles v Swans @ Subiaco - Very tough, but being a Swans supporter i'd back the swans. i think we're travelling a bit better than them at the moment
Kangas v. Crows @ MCG - another tough game. I think the Kangas might actually get up in this game. Good running midfield, good defence as well. i think the crows run off 1/2 back may slow down against the Roos.
Week 3:
Cats vs. Swans at MCG: another tough game to pick. while on form you'd pick Geelong, i know that the Swans are the big game players and they play the MCG very well. Their style of play works very well at the G. Just depends whether Geelong choke under pressure against the Swans. i've watched a few Geelong games this year and when the pressure is on they can choke. Last time they played, Geelong beat Swans in the 1st half which was pouring rain. Swans are terrible in the rain. once it stopped, Swans smashed Geelong and almost won the game after being 50 points down. my tip? SWANS
Power vs. Roos at AAMI: I'd back the Power here i think. Roos play well at Adelaide, but i think Cornes and co should get them.
GF:
Power vs. Swans: Big stage... i'm backing the SWANS at the G![]()

crows dont deserve to be in the finals.
Power all the way, may as well give em the trophey now.... already beat the top side..gelong, why replay the game again?
Yeah thats because Port laid down so the Crows could make the finals.
That last Showdown was a joke, Port hit hard as they usually do early and stopped to wait for the Crows to do something which i might add took them most of the first quarter to score.
Port ran so many balls over the Crows goal line for rushed behinds even the commentators were sus and Malcolm Blight said Port could smash em if they showed intent which they weren't.
Ontop of that i have never seen Port mis use the ball so badly whilst under no pressure eg. from free kicks etc. in all the time i have been behind em.
Adelaide were up 16-0 in stoppages against the tired Lade in the last quarter, Choco put Thurstans into the ruck and he won 4 taps in a few minutes, Port started coming back at em and Choco took Thurstans straight back off the ground and put Lade on who couldn't even jump he was so stuffed.
You work it out!
Now i've heard people say Port would never throw a game especially against Adelaide and a top two finish was on the line why would they give it away.
Well Adelaide made the finals and Port finished second so it worked ok to me.
yea finally some good comments.
against gelong the umps helped gelong stay close, lots of very dodgy calls.
and same against the crows, although i blame the coach of the power for killing lade in the ruck, and brogans injury didnt help. i dont think it was really a matter of the crows playing good anyway, it was more like power played the worst game posssible and hey ofcourse the crows won.
whats the showdown win/loss ratio?....
when was the last time the crows were close to the grand final.... compared to the powers short afl history...
both teams are from adelaide so i'l be happy for both, but if when it comes down to it id rather see power up there.
true.. to an extent. i will always back my own team, but in saying what i did i honestly believe that is what would happen.
i'm pretty confident Swans will win sat night. Big test will be against West Coast the following week. i believe who wins out of West Coast vs. Swans will win the comp. Or if West Coast win this week, meaning Swans play Power in Adelaide, i wouldn't be suprised if Swans play WCE again in the GF (Eagles should have no problem with the Roos). In which case i toss a coin and that's who wins
This is based on my belief that Geelong will fall to the pressure in Preliminary final, and based on the fact that the game has to be played at the MCG (correct me if i'm wrong, but Geelong has played less than 2 games there this year?)
