I love The Sopranos series. I'm into Asian gangster films, more violence lol. The Untouchables isn't a bad film, although Kevin Costner is a dick. Goodfella's is another good one, Serpico, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction if you like Tarrantino.

Not_an_abba_fan when i went to china for the first time all i watched was hong kong gang movies about kids being recruited into triads from video arcades and massive machete fights haha i think one of the series i watched was 'young and dangerous' you would probably find it in an asian video store and it has subtitles.

The Godfather trilogy is the best out there. Awesome acting, atmosphere and storylines.
Sometimes I can sit down and watch all three, I like them that much hehe.
Donnie Brasco, Carlito's Way and Goodfellas rate a mention too.
And for a TV series, its got to be the Sopranos.

Although not a typical gangster movie. Casino, DeNiro running a casino, and Joe Pesci owning fools with a baseball bat!!!
A lot of the older American ones are cool. And the Vegas based mafia flicks are cool. Some good ones:
A Bronx Tale
Carlito's Way
The Sicilian
Once Upon A Time In America
Bugsy
and a newish one with Nicolas Cage, where he's Ukrainian/Jewish selling weapons in New York. I have seen most of it and I can't remember the title, I really want to see the whole movie through.
