****en ISP's and their catering to the most populous areas. Broadband internet should not be as expensive as it is. With satellite technology you think it would be available everywhere.
yeah not to bad

Here's what Telstra thinks about competition in the broadband market.
Telstra sets watchdog on Coonan | Australian IT
In my opinion Telstra is trying to stifle development in the wired broadband market so they can sell overpriced wireless broadband and has been forced to take off the speed cap on their cable network to compete with all the other carriers that are putting in DSLAMS that provide 20Mbps. Telstra doesnt lead anymore they only follow kicking and screaming. I cant help but wonder how much better our internet infrastructure would be if Telstra wasn't sold off.
End rant.
