im ****ing pissed off today because some little piece of **** broke into my car last night, nothing was taken and no damage was done. i cant figure out how the ****er got in my car hasnt changed at all, no marks, nothing broken, i am lucky as they didnt steal my headunit which was $900. sunnies $200 and ipod $400 which were sitting just under the head unit in that little shelf thing. they pulled off my interior light cover pulled the globe out, placed the globe in the cover and placed it nicely on the seat. they went through my glove box pulling everything out and putting it neatly on the passengers seat. but left the glove box open. i just dont get it!! nothing taken and everything neat with no damage?? strange. so now im getting an alarm with paigerthis weekend.
have you had this done to you before??
What friendly robbers.
Ive almost had my car broken into at tafe, saw some wanker kneeling next to my car as i was walking to it after class. I asked him what he was doing and he said he locked his keys in his car and he was trying to get them out. Being a good samaritan i am, i helped him unlock "his car" with my car keys, after which he **** his pants and bolted. Reported it to security and he was expelled.
Had my car broken in to once.I knew who did it but couldnt prove it.I worked with him,he had been asking alot of questions about my car eg alarm.it was broken into at my missus at the times house. The three of us worked together and he had access to our personal details.car door was left ajar un damaged. All that was missing was the keys to our work(supermarket)nothing else.had the locks changed straight away at the store. Its funny but that night i heard some noises outside but didnt do out to see.
i had mine broken into once. All they took was my ex's beanie
dunno if this counts but i had my car stolen about 3 years ago from brisbanes north sideit was a gold xf station wagon with 12 slot mags and it was a pretty smick ford actually
the cops found it a week later burnt out and then wanted to charge me for keeping it in the impound

my vk got broken into last halloween. they took bout 1k of stereo gear, my cds, my sports knob and custom surround, mine and my bro's wallets, and my hat.
one of the tossburgers even butted their smoke on my 1/4 window rubber and left it lying on the ground. i guess they were expecting to pinch the whole car, but what they weren't expecting was an emobiliser so the car stayed.
i didnt have insurance so the ppl had to be caught, but no, even with a smokebutt and 15000 bloody finger prints, the cops said that they cant do nefink. boy was i furious!
anyway this isnt my thread so ill stop hyjacking it now.
sorry to hear bout ur car mate, hope ya find the dipsh!t.
It pretty stupid for people who leave things like ipods or laptops or any valuables in their car that is visible to anyone.
Seriously you should not have left your ipod in that shelf under you head unit. you have been very lucky that it is not stolen but luck may not be with you next time.
My uncle's Sony Vaio laptop had been stolen 4 months ago because he stupidly put his laptop bag in the passenger footwell thinking no one will see it.
Rule: NEVER leave valuables in the car!!
yep had mine done too - f***ers ripped all my dash apart to get my clarion head unit - but being bolted down nice and tight all they managed was to rip it in half - f***ckers....
lucky i build digital video recorders for a living lol - got some nice head shots - he was caught 2 days later - attending cops saw it and went - ahhhhh thats (billy) down the road. HA!!!!
The other end of this is I've let myself into about half a dozen cars. however, If they weren't mine they were a mates, and they were with me at the time

Never had mine broken into....
But then again I've never left anything valuable exposed.
MY sister's car got broken into. Just two guys trying to get an easy ride home after a night out apparently. They got into it easily enough and then it wouldn't start. No immobiliser, just a s**t car! The police caught them sitting there in the car, but they still caused nearly $2000 of damage to her car.
Also my mum's car got broken into and nothing was taken from it. I think the dog she used to have scared them off that time though.
Whoever said 'There is no substitute for cubes' had obviously never heard of Jet power
While I was trying to fix the door lock on mums car, she needed it to go somewhere. So I made it temporarily drivable by using cable ties to hold all the door bits in place but couldnt lock it because I diddnt have time to put the handle back on it.
Anyway while it was later parked out front of her friends place, some little **** (im assuming) stole a folder of CD's. Luckily all the discs were copied from our originals because we thought this might happen one day![]()
My car got stolen. a week and one day later i got it back in pretty good condition. i was very lucky
Australia. Love it or leave it
I had my first car, a KF laser, broken into. They stole head unit, speakers, wallet, cd's, my brothers bag with some of his clothes in it and my unopened pack of smokes. so it all worked out for them. they had a bag to put it all in and some smokes for afterwards. i even left them my lighter aswell.
I had my old VP broken into a couple of times and some failed attempts, at the shops, at mates, restaurants etc in a 6month period.
I was sooooo sick of it so bought back door handles and installed them in the front so there was no lock in the doors at all!! Then after my 2x 12" Subs got stolen I removed my boot lock, sealed the hole, covered with a badge and installed elec boot release and an alarm. The car wasn’t touched for nearly 3 years after that!! Now it’s sold, luckily I never lost my keys for the central locking LOL
ive never had any possesions stolen outta my car, all ive had is little c##ts key up the side, jealous pricks i say, i woud love to kick the **** outta em
About 5 weeks ago, some low-life broke into my work van at Regency Tafe. Stole my toolbox and nothing else as the alarm must have stopped them getting anymore. Still going through the crap with the insurance company. I supplied a list and they have valued it, should get a credit voucher any day soon for around $1500 to replace my tools.
There are other tools and equipment in my van that are supplied by my employer are worth over $30,000, they were not touched. Almost all my tools that were taken were engraved with my full name and smaller tools were engraved with my initials.
They used something like a small screwdriver to gain access by pushing it under the lock to unlock the side sliding door. The van is alarmed and would have started screaming as soon as the door was opened. I don't think they could sell the tools as they were engraved.
The damage to the van will not be fixed as it will be traded in for a new van which I will get in 2 weeks. I hope the new van will not be as easy to break into. And I am going to use big bolts this time to stop my toolbox growing legs and leaving me![]()
You must have a stalker.
Was this at home or at work. I remember you saying a few cars at work have been stolen, so might be the same guy.
Closest thing i know of, my old boss at woolies had a mini, so a few times when we left we parked his car around the front for him, between 2 trees![]()

My nef had a mitsub pulsar as a daily, while he was building his toy.
It was a piece of crap! Bits of wood to hold up the windows.
Some tosser broke the rear door 1/4 glass to get into it! If he had bumped any one of the doors, the windows would have fallen down! LOL
ive never been broken into but....
my step dads vr got broken into, they stole a green neon from the dash, a green bulb from the roof light, the service manual out of the glovebox and about 10 burnt cd's.
they broke the console trying to steal the pioneer headunit, failed to get it out so they stole the face and left the unit half hanging out of the dash
We all should install those tiny hidden cameras, so that when the car is broken in to, it would automatically record the action.
My first VC got broken into at Colonnades, they took my jacket and my bag ( didn't have anything in it ) and 2 months later it got stolen.
We got rep back, yaaay!
