whats goin on at HSV??

i have no idea how long this has been around..but..

has anyone else noticed the countdown on the HSV website, saying "the biggest moment in HSV's first 20 years is coming.." its got about 23 days or something as of today..

anyone know or heard something i have no idea about? my quick calculations make it 9th or 10th of Oct, which is right before the start of the sydney motor show too.....

it'll be the release of either the new engine (7L) or a new car, GTS-R or something

yeah my first thought was the maloo ute, but agreed..its not really that bigger deal..

ive heard a few ppl mention the LS7, and unless its a one off thing in something, like a GTS-R i couldnt really see HSV introducing a new engine when we just got a new engine not long ago... a few ppl have also mentioned the GTS-R, which could be verrrry interesting

ill do more detective work and see what i can find out

Just read over on SC, a guy who apparantly works in HSV has said it is a GTS-R, but not the 7L, just an upgraded engine to 327kw, with the expensive option of a 370kw version

Why the **** would some destroy a holden in this way?

For christs sake people modern holdens look **** with any stripes on it. Especially VE's.

hopefully the cars powered by the lsx engine. just read a bit about it alot stronger than the current ls1/2 and can be stroked upto 7.9l
