Looking for Sat Nav that picks up speed cameras?
Basically I been looking around and I am looking for a satellite navigation that is also really good at picking up speed cameras?
If anyone knows of any products please let me know
Thanks!!

Road Angel products are probably the best, but they only pick up fixed cameras. You also have to pay a subscription each year to have this feature.
Why dont you install cruise control instead or as the adverts say wipe off 5. SO much easier and cheaper.

as minux said. you can get radar detectors separately but the police can detect them and it's a big fine. every time you detect a radar you'd have to turn it off before the cops detect you have one.

there's no satnav to my knowledge that picks up speed camera's/radars. the roadangel only does fixed camera's cos it's programmed in. it doesn't detect them.

Yep, as already said, there are none that will detect a radar, but for a subsciption, most have the feature to download and update speed camera locations, ie: multanovas and fixed.

whats the point, unless ur a rev head and speed everywhere....if u don't speed, u won't get ur picture taken...
go ahead and waste ur money if u want....there are no sat nav's that detect radars, only inputted locations of them...
it has been proven that detectors are not worth the money u pay, they can be set off even when there are no cameras around or even have their receptors jammed (commonly called RFI - radio frequency interference).
in WA it is not illegal to possess radar detectors, but once they are on and active, u could be fined or fined also depending on the position they are placed on the windscreen.
don't forget, coppers use laser equipment too, these are not detectable as such, because they operate on a light pulse that travels at the speed of light. ur speed is pretty much instantaneously detected before a radar detector has a chance of pinging.

none of them pick up mobile speed cameras. They way they work is they detect the stationary speed/red light camera similar to a normal 'point of interest'. Both Navman and TomTom offer a free download for this, all you have to do is call them or go to their website. The new models that have just been released already have this feature built in with the new 2007 maps. Road Angel 6000 and up (i think) have this feature built in also.

You mentioned you were in WA. I believe that the radar detectors are legal in WA. You'd have to check but I think they are.
Most of the GPS units have them programmed in as a POI (point of interest) including red light cameras. As you already know, they'll only save you from the fixed camera sites, not the mobile ones, or the end of my laser
