for those of you who are fans, Rage Against the Machine have announced a tour!!

they are playing two shows, Sydney and Melbourne!


all i need now is for someone to buy my aussie 4 speed so i have cash to put towards a ticket

I went Gigantour last year.... Won't be going this year... The lineup is pathetic in comparison.

Only band worth going to see is Megadeth, but I've seen them 5 or 6 times already. Not really worth forking out the dosh again.

Megadeth aren't even really the same band anymore. The only original member is Mustaine.

I saw them back in 2000 or 2001 at the Enmore Theater when they had Jimmy Degrasso on drums, Al Pitrelli on guitar, Ellefson on bass and of course Mustaine.

I reckon that was the best line up they had after Friedman left.

that will most likely be Big Day Out...only a rumour at this stage, but it makes sense when you look at the dates they will be here..... BDO headliners for sure

Ah k sweet. I was looking at buying a membership to get into the pre-sale. I assumed the one listed on ticketek was the fan club pre-sale.

There must be 2 pre-sales. Hopefully there's still some gold seating left.

Gold was sold out in 2 minutes apparently (i know thats the case for melbourne anyway) Theres a thing on the maiden website stating they are inquiring whether or not more gold tickets can be made available.

My mate signed up so we had tickets guaranteed, there is no way we are missing this concert. Itll be the first time in 15 years, and lets face it probally the last time they come to Australia.

I dont see what the gold and silver **** is anyway. Isnt it all general admin (standing area/mosh pit)? Its pretty much the bigger and braver you are the closer you get to the stage haha. Im pretty sure our tickets say General Admin 2.

There are two mosh pits.

Gold the first half of the floor. Silver the 2nd half.

Thats the case at the acer arena anyway.

Looks to me like they've left 3 days between the melb, syd and bris shows to accomodate a 2nd show in each city if there is the demand.

The Iron Maiden fan club only got a small selection of tickets made available.... Like any pre-sale. At most, they're usually an allocation of 15-20%.
