Just go into a panel shop and ask them for a quote.

Depends if you want metallic or not.

If not, then it will can cost between $3000 - $6000

In metallic it can cost more. Do you want a bare metal respray??

Basically if you find a panel beater that does dirt cheap resprays, chances are the quality will be dirt cheap as well. You get what you pay for. You're better off saving the extra and getting it done properley!

Isn't it illegal to spray any car but a rice burner in hot pink?

You could try PJ's on the Ipswich Road service road at Rocklea. I personally have not had anything sprayed by them, but I have worked on trucks they have sprayed, and the work has always been done to a high standard. If/when I need something done, I will certainly be asking them for a quote.

However, I have heard they can be quite expensive, but as pointed out earlier by Cobez, you get what you pay for.

Isnt that a VT in your Avatar?

Especially if your car isn't already pink, then if you don't get your engine bay done and you get the rest of your car sprayed hot pink, it's gonna look really weird when ya pop the bonnet.

I'm all for personal choice but after you do that to it it'll be worth double its value to you and half it's potential resale because of the colour.

i know it makes it alot cheaper if u prepare it for respray. cause they charge u for tha paint and labour. make less work for them and it wont take them as long. i havent got a car fully resprayed but i got a boat resprayed and thats what i did.

Some places won't do a respray unless they do the whole lot otherwse they can't garuntee a good finish that will last. Years ago my bro did all the panelwork on his VC, then he started ringing up places to just get the paint done, but the places he tried wouldn't touch it for that exact reason.

Yep thats is true but also they use that excuse to make more money.

Its better for you to go and ask them if you can prep it yourself first and see what their answer is.
