    Default Whats your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is that of falling and not being able to stop.

I have done over 60 statics and 80 freefalls so it makes it even scarier to think about. I just have a fear of falling and having something in reach but not quite being able to grab it...freaks me out.

drowning or getting burnt alive. some people say that drowning is a peaceful way to go. bull****. how bad would it be knowing you are unable to breath air so you take a breath of water. that freaks me out

Drowning which is a bit of a worry as most weekends I race these! The blue sail was off Sandringham a couple of years ago and the Nissan boats were a pro shoot in Europe (not me though)

Being buried alive or trapped in a confined area. I dont consider myself claustrophobic but the thought of not being able to move gives me the willies.

Drowning is one for me too~ i nearly drowned twice when I was a kid so im not a big fan of water.

With drowning generally you die from one or both of two things:

The water hits your vocal cords causing your body to shut down in shock (almost instantaneous)

In other cases im not sure what gets affected in the body but you go into a euphoric (hallucinate but everythings really pretty and nice) state and often people who survive have described looking up from the bottom of a pool and seeing beautiful colours in the water and being really peaceful (not struggling to save themselves).

Yes drowning (after your lungs fill with water and you get over the choking i assume) is the most peaceful way to go i would think.

I had this dream once, that i was swimming in the middle of the ocean, miles away from land, like so far out the water was really dark, and suddenly an ENORMOUS black hole opened up under the water in the ground and everything fell into it.

So now i'm **** scared of going out too deep at the beach.

    Sad isn't it? lol

hmmm mine are prob falling from great heights (to death), burried alive, burned alive, airplane crashes, being killed by radiation.

being killed slowly or knowing your going die pretty much sums it up.

My biggest fear is not being able to control or feel my legs or arms or any part of my body for that matter.

It really freaks me out especially when I wake up in the morning and find that I can't feel a thing or move my arms because I was sleeping on top of it therefore no blood in there.

The scariest bit is when it wasn't working for like 10 mins lol. It was like totally dead!!

I have a fear of being alone. Not like alone in a room. But spending my life alone without a significant other.

    I'd have to say falling,

But....going with the whole..dead arm thing

Having surgery, put under the anaesthetic, but still being conscious in your mind, being able to feel each slice and cut etc...but not being able to tell anybody of it..that'd suck

Apparently freezing to death is a relatively painless way to go. Once you go numb, you're meant to just feel warm until you die. I'd love to know how they confirm this sort of stuff though??!!

My biggest fear is anything bad happening to my kids.

Either being murdered, burnt to death, or dying a slow and painful death. If you wanna kill me, just get it over and done with as quick as possible...don't make it a longer and more drawn out process than watching the movie "Titanic". :P

Other than that, my greatest fear would probably be just plain not succeeding in life.

my biggest fear... well there's a few. something happening to my kids, something happening to me preventing me from supporting them, turning out just like my ol' man, and having my kids hate me. also, I don't think I'm too concerned about falling, but how i'd stop certainly is
