Just wondering if anyone else watched Channel 7's "Flashback" last night. Anyway, if you didn't, it was about the old Holden factory that used to be at Acacia Ridge...it was really quite interesting.![]()

I saw it, it was interesting.
It was funny seeing the news archive footage of the reporter doing a story on the New Diesel Gemini. He was just about yelling over the noise of the diesel motor saying how economical it was but how much more expensive it was.
Things i learn't from this story:
-All Gemini's upto 1984 were made at "Acacia Ridge".
-Holden's first brisbane factory was in "The Valley"
-Ford had a factory at "Eagle Farm" from the 1920's upto 1998.

Ayup, i learnt ages ago about the Ford factory at Eagle Farm.
I'm wondering though...would any of those diesel Geminis still exist? All i know is that you'd never miss it...that thing was loud!
