Where can I find the BSB number??

Hi, guys I signed up paypal but they are asking for a BSB number of my bank.

Now, I heard is on my bank card or on my bank statement???

I need to assign my bank account on paypal.


Any help would be appreciated

it will be on any bank statement, or on a page of details from when you created the bank account. will be 6 digits long.

It is usually in the format of XXX-XXX. Which bank are you with?

part of the number? on the statement it should be something like:

Bank: *****
Name: *****
Account: *****
BSB: *****

.etc

(might be under "Bank/State/Branch")

Normally its the first 6 numbers of your account number, then the remainding numbers is you actual account number.
So it could be like this XXX XXX XXXXXXXX
Or if that doesn't work, look it up online

if its comonwealth then it will start with 06 or 76, if your in vic it will then be followed by 3

so look for 6 digits whcih begin with 063 - XXX or 763 - XXX

thats not right, your account number does not include your BSB, thats seperate.

A BSB is a six digit code sued wihtin Australia to localise a specific branch of a financial institution. An account number refers to a specific aco**** within a financial institutuiin.

You live at "X New St." in "New Town"

You have the account "XXXXXXXX" with the BSB "XXX-XXX"
