Arrow New FPV F6X and Limited Edition GT Cobra

Some pics of the FPV F6X and GT Cobra... Whats peoples thoughts?

FPV F6X... Turbo 4.0L Straight 6.... Expecting around the same power levels as the FPV Typhoon... So 362hp (270kW) and 550Nm of torque... Not bad for an SUV

Horrible wheels though, doesn't look too good in my opinion:

The FPV GT Cobra...a limited edition version of the current V8-powered Falcon GT dubbed the GT Cobra. The new car will only be available in white and will feature blue racing stripes in honor of the original Falcon GT Cobra coupe from the late 1970s. Apparently it will receive a 405hp (302kW) version of Ford’s Boss 5.4L V8.

A much nicer looking car than the FPV territory...

Maybe, Motor says 5.4L though. Motor made a big mess of things.. releasing the FPV F6X, FPV GT Cobra, VE Wagon and HSV VE Maloo pics too early.

I like the Cobra, but the F6X looks too yanky for my tastes, meh.

How did they release the cobra too early? It was on display at Bathurst...thats why i thought it was a 5.8 litre setup as it was mentioned on air.

Meh. Doesn't do it for me. To me it looks like they've just got their run of the mill white FPV, put a blue racing stripe down the middle and badge it as a "Cobra". Paying couple of thousand more just for a badge; screw that

    The 4x4 is a certified wanker-mobile. SUV's must die!

The Cobra is a waste of a classic nameplate. FPV must be struggling for sales if this is all they have to offer. Besides, the Cobra is supposed to be a two door coupe, not a GT sedan with some stripes added. What a joke.

I don't think HSV has anything to worry about. A new GTS-R will flog the crap out of this thing.

that cobra looks ok i spose, although its really just a falcon with a big gay wing and some stripes....
the F6X just looks ****house, those rims in particular remind me of the cheap plastic chrome hub caps people put on their fully sic daewoo's.

What do you me a GTS-R will flog the crap out of it.... A standard R8 will flog it.
Just another stick pack special which is what i have come to expect from ford (and unfortunately holden seem to be heading that way).
As for the FPV tezza, it hardly looks any different and what they have done makes it look worse than the standard turbo IMO.

I don't like either... don't know why they'd make a mid-sized SUV belt out that much power considering the target market would be parents with young kids.

The "Cobra" is a massive disappointment. I don't see much different from the pre-existing GT apart from that hideous wing, and tacky attempt at recreating the Cobra's racing stripes.

The rear wing on the cobra could be used as a roof support in a house!!

Cobra is still running the 5.4litre but there have been internal mods to get it to rev out more, better torqe and kW's. Also it has a few differences inside and a limited build. Also most have been sold.
Also for everyone having a winge about it, its a run-out model. Orion is just around the door.

For the FPV terri apparently its up there with one of the fastest SUV's in the world. The Ford fans have been asking for this for a while. A bit dissapointing in terms of looks but if you've ever driven a Terri Turbo this thing will move.
