I'd say the front is much better than the previous models but the rear is not that good.

Overall it better looking than earlier models.

i think they are great cars, go like a rocket both auto and manual versions which is a change from the previous models.

Is it just me or does the front look like a Skyline or some other sort of Nissan...

Anyways, not a bad small car!

I myself like the design of this new lancer, especially the new headlights.

I like it. It's a big improvement (looks wise) over the previous models. The front looks pretty agressive.

Mitsubishi did it in reverse this time around. They built the EVO X, then used that to develop the road car. The standard appointments on this car are far above anything else in it's class.

the rear is a bit of a shocker, being something akin to an Alfa romeo >.< but the front has its charms, the size is interesting, is it getting as big as a magna or something? *shrugs*

Must admit, that 3/4 angle shot in silver it looks pretty good. The only shots they seem to show here in NZ are of a red one, still 3/4 angle but up abit higher and with that angle and the red colour....it makes it look like crap, but I agree with the comments about the arse end, bloody awful. Got a good write up in the local paper here, CVT transmission works well, nice stiff chassis= good handling and as mentioned, for the price, brilliantly optioned. Hmmmm still not 100% with that nose.I guess if they pushed it back a little further..... but then Nissan would be knocking on the door with a lawsuit...very skyline-ish. The interior leaves me cold, very plasticy and souless..... but that's just my opinion
Could end up being the AU of Mitsibishi- ya either like it or ya don't!

A lot of people say it actually looks a lot like the Mazda 3, which incedently is the highest selling small car in Australia. I think it looks great. A big improvement over the last model, I thought that one looked plastic and cheap.

The EVO X is turbo and AWD, not released in Australia yet.
