How do you cruise JC?

Thought id just ask.... i just click new posts every time i come on, browse the results, make my posts and then click new posts to see whats hapened in that time... how does everyone else navigate the site when they come on...?

Do you just check your sub forums?

generally hit new posts, but sometimes when im tired or lazy, ill just check what new threads im subscribed to

I usually go through my favourites - pub, VR/VS, VN/VP, for sale, wanted to buy..........and once I've done those I start going through and check for anything else that catches my eye!

I just realised I spend WAY too much time on JC

Check mod forum, check another forum, check pub, check general, check email, delete a few posts, move threads constantly put in wrong sections etc etc etc

pffttt you dont count with all your fancy important things you have to do.... us regular users and our inability to change cool stuff have only "new posts" to press...

I use tabs in firefox to load all the sections that I like at the same time. then go through the sections and open all the threads with new posts in seperate tabs again then read through them in one hit. time saving? who knows. its just become a habit

I was just thinking today, there should be a better system.

I looked at a thread, closed the page, then decided i wanted to reply to it. clicked new posts and because i had read the thread, it didn't show up


Is there a way to have another link that shows 'last 24hours posts' so that even if you have read them, they still show up.

mines show up even if i have read em....

Other forums have it, and i don't see it as a bad thing. Just a thought tho.

I look at the usual, usually twice a day at least, pub, jokes, feedback and all the help forums.

1. head to forums.justcommodores.com.au
2. middle click on the forums that interest me (pub, general, audio, VP...) to open in new tabs
3. middle click on the blue triangle to indicate new posts to open up in new tabs
4. read through new posts, post if need be.

When I visit, I first click on my user name and go to posts made by Attaboy and see the threads I posted earlier. Then I just go through the usual like the general section, the pub etc etc..

There surely is, click quick links then todays posts. That should bring up the last 24 hours of posts.

Personally I check my subscribed threads first, then I run that link and scan through. It puts a break in where you have last visited as well.

I just come on and check: The Pub, VN/P section(s) and V8 development, then once done I check other models and general.

I usually get to the main page and right click open in new window a few sub forums. Usually i go through Victorian Chapter first, The Pub, General, VR/VS, and the For Sale section.
