I'm wondering is there anybody else out there that hasn't got a mobile phone?
I have no choice but to have a phone, if it were not for my job, i wouldn't own one. I hate the stupid things.
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
- Theodor Seuss Geisel
I also hate them. I hate that they've become a status symbol; I hate the fact that if you're having a conversation with someone and they're phone rings they dump you like a hot potato. I hate morons on the road that weave all over the place cos they're texting or talking.....![]()
I wouldn't of had one if it wasn't for my mum ( not for a while anyway ), i got mine when i was 15 because i had started my first job, i hated having one at first but then the Snake addiction hit me.
We got rep back, yaaay!
My mums got a mobile though my dad hasnt, he wouldnt even know how to use one either lol
I have a mobile so i dont have to worry about having a landline(bum internet off the parents while im still at home... that prolly wont be much longer though).
also most of my friends only keep in contact via txt message and refuse to ever actually ring people (stupid telstra pre paid 1c text bull****). this means i wouldn't be able to keep in touch with them all if i didnt have a phone (and a telstra one at that... mind you, no other provider has decent coverage up here)
My parents both have phones as does my sister. I have umm 1 friend who doesnt have a phone. What i really hate is waking up in the morning to like 10 txt messages... thats just annoying... (phone is always on silent over night though)
My 2 year old nephew hasn't got one.

HOWEVER, I almost always have it on silent. If I'm out on a friday night, I don't want to be called. If I'm driving, I don't want to be called. If I'm asleep, I don't want to be called - and if I'm at work, I'll leave it in the car.

my phone is with me everywhere i go but im probably one teenager to say that i cant stand to text my mates or anything, i could be sitting there for 30 mins trying to type out one message, it sooo much easier just to click that little green phone icon on the phone and talk to them rather then text, i know its a bit off topic but had to say it, cant stand it...
i dont know my home phone number...i never intended to since i moved in here a few months ago, the mobile is my landline.
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
ummm nan and pop don't well on one side the other grandparents do, my nearly 2yr old son doesn't well he does but its my old phone he plays with its never charged or anything. My 8 yr old daughter has one![]()
I have one but only because of work, otherwise i wouldn't bother too much with them.I find that people ring you at the most frustrating times in my job, like when your up to your arms in grease and oil fixing something and the bloody phone rings.I also hate text messages so anyone that sends one i just ignore it.
I mainly have one for safety reasons, most of the time it stays in my pocket since I hate texting and calling is too expensive haha.
