Anybody aware of this?
I've noticed for the first time that the fuel pump icon on the fuel gauge has it's little hose on the right hand side; indicating (I suppose that you fill the car from the right hand side)
You're a bit bored, arent you?![]()
Does that mean that it points to the left on Fords?
What about on trucks?? Where fuel tanks are on both sides.![]()
I got an email about this the other day, and yes the side the hose shows on the icon is the side the filler is on for cars.
just checked my gf's laser, the filler is on the left but on the guage the hose is on the right
Hmm what if you don't have a fuel pump icon on your fuel gauge?? Does that mean i shouldn't fill my car up??Mine just flashes at me!! :P

"No, I'm not a pessimist. At some point the world shits on everybody. Pretending it ain't shit makes you an idiot, not an optimist."
what about cars with the filler on the rear of the car![]()
I hope this makes it to the news.. I'm amazed!
