Haha, such a cut throat situation. At least the court doesn't have to see this case, justice has been served.
A GRANDFATHER has told how he "desperately tried in vain" to save the life of a burglar who was breaking into his home.
I'd desperately try in vain to save his life too. Prod him with my toe a bit..."watch out for the sharp glass mate, you OK? No? Oh well..." That would be my first aid.
I wouda been pussed that he put blood on my carpet!!!
gotta love happy endings![]()

thats one of the best "feel good" stories I've heard in ages...
Haha karma got to him. But If I were the grandfather I'd try save his life.
But I hope this sends a strong message to those 'would be' burglers....
My money's on the gnome. It's the gnome's pay back for being thrown.
I guess a lesson is to be learnt from this story....
DON'T THROW GNOMES, THEY ARE EVIL AND WILL KILL YOU.

and a rabbit sometimesI'm only nice to one person per day. Today is not your day....
Tomorrow doesn't look good either.
God must love stupid people, He made so many.
But do you reckon is worth his whole life even if that could be his first house robbery or his first crime.
Its like executing a person for robbing a house. Life is far more valuable, and one can learn from his own mistakes.
In my opinion I don't think death is the answer. But then it depends on how severe the crime is.
You are right, its probably not. However, as the legal system is so soft on these people, and NOT helping people learn from their mistakes, I think its quite good to see a bit of Karma like this happen. I certainly wouldn't be going out of my way to help that wanker.
i glad to hear thats what happened to him (pity the old bloke tried to save him, what for-to get sued by the prick), i wish this would happen to all burglars, i got no sympathy for these people, they should all face the firing squad.
I definitely agree with you that the legal system is soft on people who commit crimes. But emotions / anger can also get to us that we would say let them die, but if you are actually in a real situation it'll be a different story.
Its not nice seeing some one laying in a pool of blood and mourning in pain. I don't know about others but I definitely wouldn't be sitting down watching him / her die. Thats just sick.
I guarantee that every person here who has said they would not help him would help.

So tell me, how many times have you had the opportunity to take ones life because they were doing wrong?
Have you ever watched a person die in this way or similar?
I based my comment on real life trauma that i have witnessed. I am basing this on the reactions of men i have seen say the exact same thing.

I'm hating the bleeding hearts reaction to this. He only broke in, he didn't deserve to die for it. It's what people are saying about the Bali 9 also.
This guy didn't deserve to die for breaking and entering, but it should've entered his thought process that when you break and enter, being seriously injured is a very serious possibility. Unless he knew he wouldn't get seriously injured, because the place was the residence of an old man.
He knew what he was in for (even though the chance was remote) and he was unlucky enough to get the bad end of the spectrum. He was the one who chose to play the game. Hopefully this will deter more people from doing it.
If it was me, I would help him. After I had a look at his drivers licence of course.
