Hsv Sv99!!

i was at karrinyup shopping center (for those who live in WA) yesterday when i saw this very virbrant VT HSV SV99. my first though was a mock up exec with sum random badges, as i had never herd of the SV99 but when i took a closer look everything was genuine HSV. i went home and googled it and its a special model realesed to celabrate Grant Hackets gold medal at the sydney olympics. only 99 were made so there rare as hens teeth. all LS1 250kw editions. all were made in "Hacket Gold" a once of colour (similar to holdens tiger mica). all were the HSV clubsport kit painted one solid colour. the interior is also "hacket gold" with every where that colour leather, including colousn seats

Not really a fan of that colour on a VT. But its a very nice car and rare too.

Only if very low k's and in mint nic. And most of the other 98 have high k's and are in poorish condition.

If that was my car, i wouldn't be happy that the location and plates of it are fully visible to the internet world.

Agreed, at least give the plates a scrubbing over though its a bit late for that..

i dont get the big deal bout havn the plates shown in pics... u drive the car every day... u leave it in carparks all day... EVERYONE can see the plates an any given time. so why havn a pic bad??

because if some random lets slip they were involved in under the counter activities and it links back to here, then others will be picked up as a possible accessory / associate, bit more hassle than its worth.

it just helps the anonymity a little

Because car thieves troll forums such as these, trying to find cars to target. With the number plates, people can find out someones address. And then they can steal it from somewhere which doesn't have 500 car parks.


The point is, professional car thieves rarely target cars randomly. Having pictures and a location on the internet just helps them.

Its not the moderators job. Its yours to blur out the plates. It takes a while of 5 seconds in photoshop. Or even paint if thats the only program you have.
