Hi guys,
As the title suggests i am having trouble with a winfast DTV dongle. Went through the installation process and it wont pick up digital channels using the aerial that comes with it. I hooked it up to the house aerial in the lounge but when i open the program it says there was an error and it closes the program. Tried to change it to analogue but it says that it cant find an available WDM device. What is a WDM device? What does this mean?
If it makes any difference i am running it on 32bit vista
Thanks for the help

Is your house aerial a digital type?? Have you tried relocating the bundled antenna some where else??
Might sound stupid, is the program certified to run on Vista?? (Vista compatible).
it may also help if you download the latest drivers from there site
Yeah i made sure it was vista compatible, and the drivers it comes with are the most recent. I will try it at my brothers place and see what happens. Its probably just a piece of junk...

The WDM stands for Windows Driver Model.
It is basically a driver technology standard that has been created by Microsoft so that drivers can be compatible with multiple operating systems.
Drivers that follow the WDM rules are called WDM Drivers.
What is the model number of the DTV Dongle, my guess is it is probably only digital dongle, therefore when you change it to Analogue it is looking for an Analogue dongle or driver.
