Question Brock Falcons ??? What do you think??

Hi guys a mate of mine bought a Brock Fairlane a few months ago for really cheap..... it is in very good condition and he does prefer the "big blue oval" in general.
He bought it only to keep in the shed and hopefully make some money on in years to come.It is in full roadworthy condition.
Now my question is do you think they will appreciate in value considerably over the next 10 years or so like most other cars?
I dont want this to turn into some debate with people bleeting about people that are making money of a dead hero etc etc..... Fact is he has been trying to buy one for the last few years.
Does anyone know how many were produced etc?
I also remember Brocky put his name on some Lada Niva's of all things.....EWWWWWWWWW (shudder)
The Brock Fords i have seen have been very plain Jane in appearance ( in my opinion look like any other old boring falcon out there) but they all seem to go quite well. Bit of a sleeper!
So what is your opinions on the Fords?

I have a 1988/89 magazine with a story on the SV3800 which also has a story on Brock going broke and starting up with Fords. I'll dig it out and have a ganda at it for you.

Number made - not that many. Many will not survive the test of time and will not be repaired/restored. Most of the time people will not believe Brock did Fords - so it will always be a credability aspect to one of these cars.

Over time they will become rare - but I doubt they will command high prices because Brock fans just can come at a Brock Ford.

So future value - not that much more that a standard Fairlane.

So to sum up - long shot - but maybe a winner.

    Cool Brock Trucks!!!!

Yeah i agree with you there about it being a long shot but ..... i also remember about 15 years ago people said ( me included) that a GTHO Phase would not reach $50 000.
I also sold a genuine E38 charger in very good nick about that time for under $10 000.
But i dont think you can compare genuine aussie muscle cars ( monaros, GTHO's etc)with the Brock Fords as far as raw power etc. But i do think they will appreciate somewhat due to their rarity. I Have been told that there were only about 20'ish Brock fairlanes built and about 126 falcons... Mind you the man would put his name on anything to make a buck at the time.... but he was going broke at the time and he pawned his name onto anything. As far as i know he has his name on Brock Commodores, falcons sedans, a falcon ute, fairlanes, ford mavericks, lada samaras (BAHHAHAHAHHA) and also onto a Brock Truck...... (no Joke) It was a LTS9000... It had side skirts that covered the tanks and a reshaped bonnet that had ford LTD lights in it!!!
It went to a mob called Kalari transport and they ended up ditching the bonnet cause it kept vibration and cracking and the lights would keep falling out.
I did not know all any of this until i went to the muscle car museum last year..... WOW. Then i started looking into it a bit more and have found out the rest along the way.
He was a buisness man just like anyone else i suppose.....
I reckon he lost the plot with the whole Polariser thing ( His new age alternative chiropractor had a lot of influence on him at the time) but no matter what, you can not deny the fact that he was still an awesome race car driver and King of the Mountain.
