bahahaha funny stuff people i was putting my gas switch in the car and put a couple of the wires around the wrong way i was wondering y it wouldnt start on gas. go dam yellow and white wires its bad when you say yellow is white and white is yellow while looking at them still wasnt registering that i had them back to front, melted the gauge on my gas tank though.

this isnt engine trouble but pulling into a car park (on petrol) turing the petrol/gas gauge off (deterrent for me) and doing shopping jumped back in the car drive off out of car park til i get to set of lights half way through, the car dies i had to roll through the rest of it bugger me i had no idea y til about 15 mins later about the switch, driving back on the road laughing my head off at myself.

i had an old toy Toyota that i wired the car wrong well let say it was a mess the only thing that worked correct was the break lights but the indicators were the wrong way around and the head lights were all over the place as the high full light were linked too the the parkers and parkers were full lights high beam did not work at all was a fine mess if you were going to drive it and did not know about the faults.

in my new car i shorted the circuit and could not find the fuse box for it for a few weeks till some one told me
check out the stock - i can even run ppl over and not do damage to the under side of my car that how stock it is

Was working on an old '70's pissat one day. Had done a head gasket and was losing water into the pots. dropped all the plugs out, and turned the crank by hand, water dribbles out of the the plug sockets.

I get a really bright idea - "Hey boss - check this out!", he comes over, i say have a look in number 1 pot through the plug socket. He leans over and peers in. I hit the starter and water sprays all ove rhis face. he rears up and smacks his head into the bonnet. The bonnet stand collapses dropping the bonnet on his head. I fly out of the car to lift the bonnet up and knock it out of gear.

The car dribbles down the driveway dragging the boss by the head, and out onto the road.....
yep dumbest thing ever. Funniest too.

My mate rebuilt an engine for an old ute he had, put pistons rods everything in excpet the piston ring. The car would turn over but it wouldnt start haha.
And i rebuilt my yz125 engine and when i started i drained all me oil out and just put my bung back in as tight as i could with my fingers, when i was running the engine back in the bung had come out(I didnt notice) and I seized my engine. IDIOT.
Was also showing my mate how to wire up an amp and sub, everything went good till he decided to change the amp connected the sub to it then connect the earth to power and the power to earth(IDIOT) there was an earsplitting thump from the sub both our heads were in the boot so we got full impact, and lets just say the car doesnt drive now haha.

Oh yer the same mate dropped a socket down his headers into his exhaust(didnt see it happen but he said he did) and there is a rattle in ther exhaust that shouldt be there now lol

lmao Tsunamix that a funny video if i ever hear one, again have also dropped things in engine bay i had shifter that went in front of radiator and i left if there for a couple of days til the other half got it out (could hear it just couldnt see it). the mister has shocked himself off the battery, dropped stuff, lost stuff never to b seen again in engine bay, trying to start his torrie he was poring petrol into the carbbie and i kicked it over and woof there was flames and the plastic bottle was on fire(haha still cracks me up) he trough the bottle still on fire with half of petrol onto the green lush back lawn (not in that spot anymore) he lost most of the wiring on the passenger side but heck so funny, he was sh***ing himself any who i got a pain in my side from laugh again gotta luv him (thank god it wasnt my car). the most annoying thing was when he lost 1 bottom end bearing for my 6 rebuild, they where brand new (never to be seen again) i had to go get another set.

Reminds me of a cold winter here in Brisbane (relatively speaking of course). I was at my GF's place and she had a big stone fireplace. So I split some wood and balled up sopme newspaper and laid a lovely lovely fire.

Waited for the mates to come around and we all grabbed a beer and a port and sat down . I went to light the fire and the lighter was out of fluid.

Went to the kitchen, grabbed the lighter fluid, wandered out while filling the lighter (it wasn't the butane gas type but the liquid type). lean't down to light the fire and went click with the lighter.

My arm goes up in flames, about four foot high.

Quick thinking me - Stood around and said' my arms on fire', and looked at the pretty flames.

A split second later I realised what I had just said and dropped onto the wool rug and wrapped my arm to put out the flames. No Burns. Whatsoever.

Lighter fluid evaporates at really low temps so I didn't feel the lighter fluid running down my arm as I filled it.

Still cracks me up. Every time I have a beer with my mates they say "Shit your arms on fire" and I look just to be sure.....

Oh and my boss chased be round the workshop with Hot Soldering Iron and some kerosene so I didn't hang around to find out jows how impressed he was. Priceless. Wouldn't have missed it for quids.

i was changing my oil and i had just draind it all from the sump, hadnt spilt a single drop, then went to unscrew the filter and drained a bit from there and was still going good. then just as i took it off it fell from my hand straight into my bucket full of oil and straight onto my clothes, shoes, driveway, underneath my car and face.. then went to put my new filter on and some idiot had changed the filters and boxes in the shop so back went on the old one after running to sprint auto at 3:56 on a sunday when they close at 4.. i got there in time but they closed early haha

went to reattach the negative terminal to the battery which i had previously disconnected, only to let my 10mm spanner touch the positive terminal as i tightened the negative up...sparks and a severely burnt hand ensured haha. never again.
also at work (in a panel shop) left tools in a car that have never returned. Never EVER trust that the spray painters will return that screw driver or lever bar!

I once left a screw driver in my engine bay next to my air box, I was driving to trade school and when using my car the one of the teachers noticed it. I was kinda realived to know that was that horrible knocking noise though.

did an oil change a couple of years ago and when i just finished the phone rang so took the call and when i finished i jumped in the car and went to go get some milk.

what i forgot was i left the drip tray under the car so when i took off it got caught 3/4of the way tipping i got out had a look it was jammed under there so hard it wouldnt budge so me and next door thought **** it we will move foward to where there is a little hump at the top of the driveway and we should be able to slide it out there got right to the top of the driveway and the drip tray split.

5 litres of oil splattered at the top of the driveway tried to clean it up but you can still see the spillage stains on the driveway and footpath always get looks from people walking past they look at the oil stain then look at the car and you can see there smiles as they can probley guess what happend.

I've done that as well, except it was coming out of my mates driveway and the car stalled (strange for an auto, and it wasn't cold i'd just dropped him home). Went to start it again and it wouldn't start, i'm thinking shit battery might be low or something. i call my mate who i just dropped off, he was absolutely off his face and noticed it was still in reverse.

i still get shit for it lol.

haha have also done that but it was about 8:45am school run and it wouldnt kick over, i was having real trouble with battery drain at that time, i called the mister, he left work came home, he sat in the car then looked at me, i wont type what he said but you get it wasnt good (child had gone inside). all because my partners sister left the car in reverse after she got it in the driveway. my moral of the story is dont let other people drive your car (or reverse it up the drive) if your not in it.

most stupid and dangerous thing ever, i was replacing the exhaust system in my VN with a mate while the car was supported on ordinary car jacks the type that you use to change a tyre, we do the job listen for leaks and as soon as i turn the wratchet on the jack to let it down the car falls and bends the other jack. Ive been told im an idiot and that if im lucky i will wipe my self out before i kill someone else but i beg to differ, someone has a different plan.
