i was wondering, if your 18 and not enrolled to vote do you get fined???
ive heard different stories about it but want to know whats actually true..
Just enrol b4 the next election and you won't be fined. A fine will be issued if u are enrolled but dont vote. Remember Peter Garret didnt enrol to vote until two years ago and now he's a polly.
no longer a hoon by association - the commodore is gone
When they come to your door and ask you to enrol, just tell em you're not an aussie citizen and they will **** off. Never have to vote and no fines. Plus you're not on the electoral roll where any bastard can find your address if they want to.
ah k so its what i thought was true... cos i dont wanna enrol cos well.... its a waist of time cos i dont wanna vote for any party cos in my eyes they are only gonna screw something up big time either way.... lose lose situation
Even if you are enrolled and dont want to vote you can just donkey vote it. Add a box for superman and tick it!
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people
If you don't vote then don't go complaining next time any government does something you don't like.
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!
Don't be stupid. Power isn't measured by the size of your tacho
Donkey votes count as a vote for the seated candidate, just FYI![]()
