Quick question about loans!
Hi guys, Just wondering a quick question. Can you get a loan for about $6000 without having a job? but a decent income of about $400 a week?

How do you not have a job but have an income?
Banks will require proof of income, selling drugs on the side won't sit well with the bank

personally id get a job first. but they will require proof of income normally for the last 1 or 2 months maybe more plus any records of stuff u pay out. if you dont have your proof of income you wont get anything

Something not quite right about this. This is that "i want it now" society we live in. Jobless but expects 6k for something.
Dude save your 400 a week and youll have 6k in about 4 months. You will save yourself a fortune in interest by waiting that little bit longer.

illegal for a finance company or bank to provide finance to someone without the capacity to repay the loan via a taxable income ( or Govt income ie pension )

If you want to get yourself a lovely pile of debt. Either sell some more weed or why don't you go to one of those shady places. Maybe an interest free loan. Depends what you want to buy.
None of the reputable places that you'd want to deal with will touch you.

Don't you believe them. You can get a loan with no job (probably not from the bank). But the rates would be very high and the people you can get the loan from would break your legs if you are late with your payment  .

Not familiar with any laws here, but would have thought that a loan is possible without a job if there is something else for the bank to fall back on in the event of non ability to make repayments and you can logically explain where the money is coming from for the repayments. Just having a job isnt the only criteria, one could be without one tomorrow.
Examples of security: Mortgage on house, car.
Loan guarantor?
