Nokia N95 GPS maps

This is a question to you N95 owners. How the hell do you get maps of Aus. on your phone? I'm usually pretty good when it comes to new phones but this smart ass phone is pretty challenging. What is WLAN? It keeps saying I cant get a WLAN connection. The guy I bought it from lived in Geelong. He has a Geelong map but that's it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WLAN = Wireless Local Area Network

It's obviously trying to connect to a wireless network but can't find any. Why it needs to do that I don't know, I don't have an N95. But I would have thought you could get the maps through the Nokia website? Download to your PC then use the USB cable to transfer files onto your phone.

Yeh I found a map loader site. It's a fairly large program will take me a long time to download. Now my phone just freezes up when i go to maps It doesn't search for a WLAN anymore. Just freezes. Will have to take it into a phone store for some help I think.

Ive got a N95 and finding the maps is easy as, as for the WLAN connection dont worry about that unless you want the internet for free really, when you open ur phone bring up the menu and go to the "maps" icon, it will then load up a map of the world you can then scroll around until you find australia and then just zoom in and find what area your looking for, Hope this helps
