Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA4)

New GTA to be expected within February–April 2008

So far it will only be available for Playstation3 and Xbox 360.

I love the GTA series, it has to be my favourite game on Playstation and cant wait for the new release!

EDIT: Going to check PS3 prices start of next year, as it would be a cheaper option than having to upgrade PC hardware AGAIN (if it came out on PC). Yes, I want to upgrade to PS3 just for this game!

I think that's only to push sales of xbox360 and ps3. They have an exclusive deal to release it on those consoles on the same day. It's usually 6 month delay on the pc version. Which is good cause you will need the latest and greatest for it to run well anyway.

Going by the screen shots it would probably be cheaper for me to just buy a ps3 than upgrade my computer to the specs required, and my computer isnt even that old. Its already too old for Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

I prefer to play strategy, simulation and FPS on a PC and everything else on a console anyway.

Always been a fan of GTA series, but now my PC is too old so I can't afford to get new games anymore, all that money went on cars lol

i saw a PS3 the other day for $649 with a game. so im thinking after christmas they will be close to $500 and ill grab one for that price.

i love how people love games about stealing cars and being tossers and then come on here and winge about cars getting nicked...

These sorta games are literally a bad influence.

However, the graphics are sweet as... Come along way from the the original GTA.

thats y we like these games so we can be tossers in the game and get it out of our system, games are influences of people who cant control themselves

which is over 70% of todays youth... it makes kids think stealing **** is cool, and running from the cops and ****...

Yeh fair enough, all im gonna say is i work as an emergency foster carer and i c some of this states worst children. Trust me mate if a kid wants to steal a car they will do it, it dont matter if they have played a game. The vision and conent of this game is nothing compared to what kids c growing up these days. just watch the news and there r car jackings and bank hold up all the time. kids get ideas from anything including games. i jst dont feel that a game is a MAJOR factor in youth crimes

Now I think il definitely be getting it on PS3 because to play on PC you would need a new DX10 graphics card and Blue Ray or HD DVD-ROM and thats pretty much almost the price of a PS3

plus of course I would also have to upgrade CPU and RAM so a PS3 would be the better option for me

then for those that dont have any brains....well they would do that **** anyway, whether there was a game with stuff like that on it or not.
the "blame the ......." (game, movie, show, music...etc..) argument is pretty pathetic.

Looks awesome. GTA are the only good games going around. The only games i can actually sit down and enjoy without getting bored. The only reason I went and bought a ps2 was for GTA3... and then came vice city.... and then san andreas....

I still have the original version of san andreas... going to be worth a bit in the future.

can't wait for this game to come out will be tops, the graphics are just unreal.

I have seen numerous kids getting guns, stealing cars, running people over.

Also with any shooter up game, kids run around shooting people?
