How can you call him a knob?? Do you know him personally??? Personally, i think Whincup is a knob, however i dont know him personally its just the way he comes across on the TV.....At the end of the day Tander won it fair and square, so the blue oval kids can cry all they want but the fact is Lowndes & Whincup just didnt have the cars to beat him on the day! I say congrats to Tander, he's been at it a long time, he came very close when he was at GRM and now his time has come to be number 1! Well done Garth, now stick up those blue oval children and do it again next year......

But he shouldn't have to cop " 2 years running ford has lost the championship because of a Kelly" There not children there full blown adults parents even.


They lost because the guy in number 16 was better through the season, I read one guy actually said he was pretty good with a good consistent year.

Like Last year i tired to make a example of when Ingall knocked out Skaife in the last round, They smiled it was number 1 joke and avatar picture, Kelly taps Lowndes around all hell brakes loose, They can't have it both ways then expect someone to knock out Tander. It's 2 faced and that's why i don't follow it like i once did it's not what it used to be people have lowered it's standards down to bitch mud slinging. It's not fun anymore.

Ingall will be back with Holden in 08.. How ford boys hated him before he was driving a ford, At least we can say we hated him with and without him.. But off the track his a top bloke very nice to speak to very mannered easy going, Helmut on his Satin.

Tander Skaife... now that might be interesting I hope Kelly goes to Toll if Tander makes the jump.

Ford Fans always change their minds. When they always lose the championship all of a sudden Sandown/Bathurst is the measuring stick for awesomeness. When we win the enduros and lose the championship all of a sudden they are still apparently the winner. God help them when we win both, what are they gonna claim then? It doesnt matter who wins the race but whos car looks better? Well sorry to say ford but we have you there to.

They are both important in different aspects, i'm just glad we got at least one of them!!

And about last years result between kelly and lowndes, kelly's passing move was legal according to the rules(he was past the "b" pillar) and lowndes tryed to cut him off too late. i found it funny but the ford people whinged like a little baby and got kelly a drive through. lowndes stuffed it for himself!!

Tander was just better this year and after 10 years of being near the top, he diserved a win. (even though lowndes tryed to put him into the sand in the last race...)

dang, thats no good. i was rather keen on him. i know he had a big name to live up to, but i would loved to see how he would have gone in 5 years after he had a few laps under his belt.

It's sad to lose someone from the sport who comes across and nice and humble. He'd never block anyone if they were coming through. He was more interested in experience than going straight for number one. I hope he comes back because he would over time become a great competitor for the sport.
