help with a pool light

hey fellas, need a bit of advice with my pool light.

atm its a stroud 32volt halogen submersible pool light (for those playing at home)

anyway its **** itself, once again...

looking at going to an led light. which is 12volt, 20 watts. soooo will a 4 amp stepdown transformer do from jaycar?

anything else i need to worry about?
