    Default Metal allergy

    There was a thread started a while ago about spider bites . I got bitten on the stomach a while ago by a white tail and i now have a reaction to any metal that touches that area . If my belt or metal stud on my pants touch that area it feels like a very mild electric shock and the affected area turns red and itchy . Just interested to see if anyone else had any side affects.

    Sounds like a nickel alergy. Go and see a doctor, in the mean-time if it is nickel basicaly avoid the metal and keep the skin as dry as possible.

    Nickel is common on belt buckles, glasses and jewerly.

    Thread digging?

    On the topic though, try clear nail polish. This is a good fix for Jean buttons & watch backs for people who have nickel allergies. It will need to be repainted as it wears, but it works!

    That just looks disgusting.

    When I was bout 10/12 we had a firewood pile. Dad always told me not to go near it cause of white-tails. I know why now.
