Not sure about you guys, but I was in Moorabbin today, and the lashing we recieved from Mother Nature was unbelievable!!
Hail Stones the size of 20 cent pieces, rain Rain and more Rain like I have never witnessed before, and the wind was insane, only short bursts, but very very unbelievable to say the least....
We had 20 cars with reported Hail Damage in our Carpark, Branches flying down the street and the Building Flooded like never before in its 100 year history............Downstairs was underwater....
Anyone else have any stories about this CRAZY Weather??

Just been notified that sections of our roof at work were torn off, and all upstairs is flooded....

Yeah my power kept flickering on and off. Havent been outside to check if theres any damage to the car, didnt know there was hail.
got pretty rough down our way. started too suddenly and seemed to change direction a bunch of times. a few areas flooded but once it ran away it hadn't really done anything for the ground. only wet a few mm down.
I was waiting at the bus stop, got caught in the thickest of it, the storm was right above me, scary ****. Had to hide under another woman's umbrella and I still got soaked.... the second storm flooded the backyard, but we need the rain!
LOL, my car stopped working in a middle of a small lake in Wantirna Rd. It was above knee deep!!! Luckily it started again and got home safely.
It was horrible in Mulgrave. Our office flooded, our toilets flooded, bosses office flooded, lunchroom flooded, and all the hallways. The warehouse flooded out in one of the aisles too. Our computers went down and well, put it this way, I just got home. Tomorrow is gonna be hell.....

Was pretty bad out Knox way all day, had the day off so finished off my Christmas shopping but was trying to do a little work on the wagz in-between the rain and everytime i took something off the rain would start again (luckily I found and fixed the spot where water was getting into the cargo area a few months ago otherwise that would have been totally soaked after todays rainfall)
Luckily I didn't have to work, could imagine the drive home wouldn't have been fun with a lot of water around on most of the roads out of the city
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
Hi everyone.
New to this and wrapped i found it.
Was in Sth Melb this arvo and drove the mazda Bravo s**theap work ute through 3 feet of water and still cant kill it! Would have liked to have driven my wagon through it cos she kinda handles like a boat. Im tipping it would have konked like the merc in front of me.
Hey my Power antenna died. Can Hear motor go up and down without aerial moving. Gave the aerial a bit of a shove while motor was going down ant it went , then it went up on its own but wont go down again. Seems to be acting a bit like my missus.
Any hints apart from get a new wife! lol.
There was a tornado at Pinaroo.. ripped a few trees out, bent a few stobe poles (i think eastern states call them telegraph poles?)

I ended up with 2 small dents on my bonnet....
Couldn't see them while the car was wet!!
Can't Imagine how bad some of the other cars are, as mine was partially sheltered....

I live in ferntree gully at the base of the dandy ranges. We copped very very heavy rain but no hail, all the streets here were flooded, the water in the mini river out front of my house was about 30cm deep i reckon, i felt like chuckin the ol boardies on and jumping into it.
This rain brought out the hectic drifters though i tell ya that much, i have never seen so many rice buckets go sideways into my street, and cars do that alot as my street is wide and long all the way and it is a long street.

Was pretty crazy at my work, i work in liquor at Waverley Gardens Safeway.
For anybody who knows the setup there, i was standing behind the counter, and getting wet from rain being blown down the passageway to the outside by the wind. For those who dont, its a good 20 metre stretch.
And at mums work there was water coming in through all the light fittings and at Chaddy sections of it were 4 inches deep with water...aaaand, in glen waverley cars were floatin

I think I followed the storm into melbourne cos it wasn't until I got close to the city that I started hearing all the reports on the radio, but I think it got much worse when it hit the SE suburbs!

Luckily I parked undercover the whole day....saw the massively dark clouds at Waverley Gardens at about 11ish, and the rain bucketing down at 3ish.
