wtf? tonight coming home from a party at about 330am im driving up mt dandy road near mine and 2 dip****s throw a handful of rocks at my car. so now i have a massively chipped left side of my car and bonnet and 4 cracks in my windscreen. wtf why do people do this? pity they didnt do it to a cop car.

im not ****in happy if i ever find out who they are lord have mercy on their cars

Its usually kids who have no concept of ownership... Its happened to me, luckily enough there was no damage, as soon as i heard the rock hit i swung a massive u turn and chased the pricks, which is a bit hard to do on Mt Dandy Rd... But yeah they were old enough in my eyes to give them a bit of a lesson.

That sucks mate, i wish ppl had more respect for cars, doesnt matter what sorta cars they are, no matter what kinda cars i HATE i still respect them and the ppl that drive them enough not to do any damage to them because i know what it would feel like to have it done to my car.
Any idea how much itll cost to get fixed? BIG rocks? or just small ones?

yeah hehe the thing is they were behind some trees on this wierd kinda nature strip so ide have to get out and im not exactly a well built bloke, im 6.1 but cant fight for crap so i try to avoid it where i can.

in the light the paint isnt too bad ive touched it up, just gotta organize the windscreen thru my insurance co now, i was thinking about canceling the windscreen cover last year lucky i didnt

I had an incident a while back while in Melbourne,i come up to the foot overpass near the airport (i think) and seen 3 people standing there looking down as i got closer could see it was 3 chics when i got right up to it they all lifted their tops and showed me 3 sets of bumpers

the sound is deafening sound's like a bomb going off in the boot! some smart ass's did this too me one night
handbrake on swung the car around jumped out and chased them (they where about 16-17 only a year or 2 youger then me) i grabbed one and threw him on yhe ground and the other 2 tried rushing me from behind let's just say they crawled home!
no damage too the commo but the sound is scary as

Forget about your car, this sort of thing can kill people. Remember the NSW south coast woman that got hit by a rock the size of a housebrick? That happened just 5 seconds around the corner from here. She was in a coma and the rock smashed part of her skull into tiny fragments. She's lost part of her hearing and when you hear her talk you can tell she's not 100% with it. The mongrel that did it is will be back in court in the new year. Probably just get a suspended sentence I bet.

Pretty stupid on your part not to report it. Come the day when they hurt or god forbid, kill someone, the more information the police have on them the more they can use against them in court if it came to that. How would you feel if you watched the news the next morning saying someone died at that spot and you did nothing about it? Everyone has mobile phones. It doesn't take much effort to call 000 and say people are throwing rocks at passing cars at such and such road. At least then cops have a better chance of catching them in the act.

We had few 17 yo chucking rocks at our front house window. Next time they did it again, but we had the security camera and took some happy snaps and gave it to the police. Since then nothing happened and its all safe again.

So should report it to the cops just to let them be aware of the problem. Its better than doing nothing.
