New drink to try!!

Since this is the pub and it's coming up to NYE thought I might post the drink we made the other night.
Introducing.............
'THE FILTHY GREMLIN'!!!
1 x shot of absinth
1 x shot of lime cordial
top up with lemonade over ice in a tumbler

But since i swore i would never touch absinth again after last new years i dont think ill be trying it tmoz night!!!!
Lol, any more recipes for tmoz night guys????

My suggestion was our initiation drink, 2 shots into a pewter pilsner thing of all top shelfs, skull on table, if mug is not placed upside down on head drink again. Nobody tells you this...so you end up passing out...and falling off the table lol

that new bundy premium is pretty good, if ur a bundy guy, O.P is always good if ur lookin to get messy hahah

but new years eve and bundy, you'll probly end up pulling out the invincible jacket and getting into a fight or 10 lol

I prefer OP cans over premiums. premiums taste too strong, while the OP's go down smooth with a kick

but this NYE im after something different maybe a bottle of jagermeister and a few cans of red bull, or a nice bottle of amarula fruit cream on ice. plus maybe some bundy cans for variety

our little vapor dragon recipe:

15ml vodka
30ml absinth
30ml pernod
30ml of yagermister...light mix, place larger cup over flaming smaller cup...wait for flames to go away then stick a straw under and suck out all those nice vapours then knock back the mix...3 and your gone no matter how big or alcohol immune you are

Depends which one, green or yellow. Green is stronger (normally around 55%) while the yellow is sweeter (around 40-43%). Had some fancy ass one once Elixir something de la grande or some crap was freaking 71%!!!

It's if you get one made with wormwood that contains thujone. In high dose's it can have a hallucinogen effect.

Absinthe was banned for many years overseas because of the effects, I guess with some nastier concoctions hitting the shelves nowadays they reversed the ban

IIRC you still need a permit to import it into Australia because of the wormwood

You didn't drink a bottle and a half. **** I hate lier's. It ranges between 60 and 70%, you physically couldn't drink that much.

ah yes i did havnt you heard of stomach pumping in hospital then they tell you only to drink flat dry ginger ale and only eat dry toast for a couple of day's

So you drank somewhere between 42-56 (depending on if they were 500ml or 700ml bottles and the brand) standard drinks in how many hours ?

I'll tell you that if you did that in a session you'd be very dead

Watched a program a while ago about a French village that made their own absinthe, the host was too chicken **** to try it straight although the locals downed it without a care. Probably a bit of drama for the cameras, but the locals got merry very quickly. Considering it ranges from 40% to about 95%, you would have a hard time doing one bottle. It could have been the lollie water they peddle in Liquorland though.
