Death Threats........Action To Take?

Hey guys.


Yesterday i recieved a number of death threats from a person i know (obviosly i am not mates with) who seems to have this sick idea in his head that i am sleeping with his ex girlfriend, which i am not.

I know who is sleeping with her etc etc, but he seems to think it's me.

I saved all of his threatening sms's and also the ones i sent back to him (which are trying to figure out where he got this idea from).

Can he be charged if i take all this to the police and show them? The number the sms's came from is his own number as well.

This guy is all talk as most of them are, but i'd like to get him into trouble to teach him a lesson as opposed to going around to his house and beating the living crap through him.

and

"Your days are numbered c*nt, watch your back, we are gonna play soon. I hope you like being stabbed with blunt objects. Be ready i'm coming for you."


I'd say he is just using his scare tactics to get answers from me, because he knows it's not me, but he has a few screws loose anyway.

IN case anything should happen I would be keeping note of EVERYTHING you can, SMS's, phone calls etc, dates, times, details.

i had a bloke once threaten me once saying he was gonna bash me and shoot me next time he saw me being a real tough basted so i thought f*ck u... lol so i turned up to a party he just happened to be at ( with a machette down the side of my trousers) lol he decided not to do anything lol.

u can try to block him trying send sms and calling u , with call blocking application for your phone.

i was with a chick a few year's ago and her ex (suposedly was still with her as far as he was concerend) did that to me got sickof it saw him down the street strangely enough
we where mature about it grabbed a 6 pack witch he shouted and went over to the beach to talk about it turn's she was lying to both of us so we both told her to **** off and weve been best mates for 2 year's now (even got drunk together and went to her house at 3 am drank our selves stupid on her front lawn and i made out with her sister in front of her lmao talk about pay back

Cobez, just last year a Vic police officer had a civilian charged with threats of death or something, there is avenues you can take if you actually fear for your life. Otherwise they will just give him a visit in most cases.
