I don't mind these, I think they look pretty good. Very similar to the old school models which is nice

In the movie "I am Legend" Will Smith hoon's around in a red one and OMG I fell in LOVE lol! Love them!
Yeah, they look horn as!
they are indeed large. like one in my garage.
Ive seen them up close at a place in ferntree gully. I was scared to go near em. I could not believe the size of the rotors and the 6 pot calipers. They were as big as my 17's.
edit: Thats the place^^^ That exact one, except in red.

At $530 000, it would live in its own room inside the house.
The GT500 goes 0-60mph in 4.5s and 12.9 on the quarter. The KR has 37 more kW but less torque so I would say it is a bit slower. Not by much though.

Super Snake
Starting in 2008, previous 2007 Shelby GT500 Mustangs could be sent to Carroll Shelby's Special Performance Plant in Las Vegas to be rebuilt into a Super Snake, which resembles the 1968 GT500KR, for an additional cost of $27,995. The Super Snake will offer a 600 hp version with warranty or an "over 725 hp" version without warranty and a 0-60 time of under 4 seconds.[4][5] The Super Snake is inspired by the 1967 GT500 Super Snake, a car made by Carroll Shelby for Goodyear Tires

The first 2007 GT500 went for $600k, the estimated Australian delivered price is around $530k. MSRP is $50k, but even when the BA GT Falcon went on sale it was getting around $20k more than retail because of limited allocations. There are only 1000 of KR's made so they won't be cheap.
its a very nice car... i have better things to spend that kind of money on though... man, 530k... thats a nice turbo setup on my VP!
aZk.
If they rebuilt say a hk monaro in a carbon fibre body with worked LS7 would you want that? I sure would.
It's just nice to see ford have done something right for a change. Their mustangs released to compete with the new monaro were ugly and crap. The new cobra's they're releasing are ugly and tarnishes a good name (cobras that is).

Yeah theres a 2007 model around my area, i think in the street over. It looks great. Guy up my street also has an older one as well as a old shcool Tbird.
Always loved the Mustangs, only Ford I think I'd go into debt for! This one looks great, just exudes muscle don't it? Always be a '65 notchback for me tho, not much grunt but looked the part![]()
Its only a concept car though, not a production model... And the LS7 VE will be a HSV, not a Holden. I bet it is powered by either an LS3, LS6 or LS7 though... And Bob Lutz said it was just about Holdens best... Considering we have recently seen the SSX, UTEster, Monaro/Coupe, EFIJY, Torana etc. then thats a very strong statement.
